What makes Helias not just a special place to go to school, but a place where you'll have opportunities to learn skills and meet people that will affect the rest of your life?
Our students, faculty and staff all work together to make us Sader Strong. Come in for a visit! Helias would not be able to operate as efficiently and effectively as it does with our faculty and staff.

Services
Helias Catholic High School is committed to providing excellence in education as established on the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church for students grades 9-12. Working in partnership with families, we are dedicated to providing a disciplined environment where Christ and His graces in each person are recognized, respected and fostered.
Every student is required to complete 50 hours of service by the end of 1st semester Senior Year. Hours completed must be turned in at the end of each academic year. Students that complete more than 100 hours in 1 year receive the Blessed Theresa Gerhardinger Award. Students that complete more than 500 hours over 4 years of high school receive the St. John Baptist de la Salle Award and receive a white cord to wear at graduation.
Helias Catholic High School logos and logo information are provided for use with permission from a member of the Helias Catholic administration. If you have questions or need additional formats or logos, please contact Rebecca Martin, director of communications and admissions. Unapproved use of the logo is a violation of state and federal laws and subject to litigation.
Advanced Placement courses (AP) are college-level courses taught by Helias teachers during the regular school day. AP courses may be granted college credit pending the student's scores on the AP Exam established by the College Board at the end of the school year and at the discretion of the college attended by the student upon graduation.
Mrs. Elizabeth Twyman, Helias Catholic's accommodations coordinator, is available Monday through Friday to meet with students to discuss learning difficulties. The Accommodations Program staff also includes Mr. Kelly Fick, special education teacher, and Mrs. Jennifer Gerber, life skills teacher. At Helias Catholic we value the whole student - mind, body and soul.

I have always said that Helias Staff and students were rude, disrespectful and judgmental. However, that was always over looked. It is what it is, ya know.
However, after reading and hearing about the willingness to tell a student not to return after Christmas break because she has Down Syndrome is beyond appalling. She has had a routine daily in this “Catholic” school. Been a cheerleader. And an incredible student all around!! And since it doesn’t meet your vision, you just want her to not return after first semester??? Get outta here!!
So, since you have a vision so high, why are you

Please reconsider your rash and negligent decision to do away with having a program for what you call “non typical students” that are special needs, kicking out the special needs children and forcing them to find a different scholl to attend. Jesus would not approve of your abuse and preposterous decision making. Love others and help others.

I have no personal experience with HELIAS, just living in it's vicinity for many years, I have observed it's students running for cross-country, and learning how to march for several aspects of parades. They also recently built a sports complex, with dedicated fields for football, soccer, tennis, and a couple of other things. I recently attended an event intended for fund-raising, which included performances by their show choir. It was well worth my $10. entry fee. I really enjoyed the performances.

My wife and I both attended Helias and now our oldest child will be attending. We feel that Helias challenged us academically and did an excellent job of preparing us for college. The tuition is a bargain considering the quality education provided and Christian values that are instilled in the students.
