Raw Remedies is WONDERFUL!! They are extremely knowledgeable about hair and the care it needs for your specific style to flourish into greatness. Great service and skilled stylist for my self. I also watched as they went above and beyond for an other woman at the shop. I will definatley be back.
I dont have locs but they clearly are experts in that to. I watched them style and maintain other clients while I was there.
You need to text for an appointment. Dont waste your time calling or driving down there.

I made an appointment early May 12th for June 3rd on StyleSeat for shampoo, conditioner. I had a conversation several times with Nae. Per the request- I text my pics. After no communication, Nae informed me she was not able to assist me because of chemicals. I have been natural for 6yrs and she recommended referring me to the Owner. In the mean time StyleSeat declined my appointment. I was not given the owner's name only a number.

I love the quality of their products but their customer service could use A LOT of work. They don’t allow locals to place orders online. It sometimes takes forever to get a response on top of constantly closing at random times. They’re amazing when you can actually catch them but it’s practically impossible at times.

Once you come to Raw Remedies you will never want to get your hair done anywhere else in Las Vegas! The staff is very friendly and highly skilled in all things natural hair. They also have all natural hair products that they make by hand. I’ve come to the shop about once every 6 weeks for over 7 years now.

Raw remedies got me started on my log journey nearly 2 1/2 years ago and I am just now getting around to writing a review. (Large in part because it takes me awhile to trust anyone, lol). But I have to say, they have been consistent since day one. Most shops/salons are after money. Being in business myself, I will sell milk to a cow as long as I make more money. This is the only place that I know in the Las Vegas area that really treats all natural hair. From the home made product, free advise, scalp care, and a place to discuss positive business ventures with like minded Individuals. Not to mention the high quality of service that you get. Their website says from relaxed to natural hair, big chop. Even has a photo of a woman with short natural hair. I have medium length natural hair.. I came in to asked I can make an appt for a haircut. I was told "we do natural hair" well that's what I have. She repeated "no sweetie we do natural hair" I was left confused because my hair is obviously natural. Then after going back and forth I realized she was saying locs and braids naturally. No extensions etc. oh ok! What I hate the most about black owned business is the bad advertising, miscommunication and surliness

I had an amazing experience with Ji'tea. She was informative and encouraging as I'm new to my loc journey. Professional, timely, and polite was the customer service aspect. The re twist itself is the best I've had, and she is the third person. The shampoo was invigorating with a great smell and the products she used were light feeling and left my hair soft and shiny.

This place is amazing..Last night was their anniversary and I had a ball. I got to see my favorite rapper, the drinks were good and the music was dope. I've been looking for a natural hair place for quite sometime. I normally retwist my own locs but after meeting some nice people last night I will definitely give this place a chance to handle my tresses.

Being from Los Angeles, this place reminded me of home--it gave me the feeling that I was dead smack in the middle of Leimert Park. My regular loctitian couldn't do my hair when I needed her to, so I was referred here (by another local shop). I was pleased with the work. I'm sold on the establishment being specialists in natural hair products. At least I know where to come now in Vegas when I need natural products to maintain my locs, because I was convinced I had to stock up when I went home. While I already have a loctitian, I will continue to keep this shop in mind when I need a backup

It literally took me over a year to find a hair salon that truly caters to natural hair and locs. I am so happy that I found Raw Remedies, they transformed my locs by nourishing them with upscale and handmade products. All of the stylist are talented and passionate. I found raw remedies on yelp and Bobbie deserves every excellent review she has. The salon is very professional friendly and the energy feels like a home setting. It smells so good as soon as I walked in. I loved that I didn't have to wait long for service. Also when I was asked what style I would like and I told her whatever she think would look good. She was excited to show her creativity. I left looking and feeling fabulous!

I'll be back!!!!!! My appointment was at 5:30 I expected to wait a while because it was so busy in the shop. However, that was not the case at all. I was in the chair to get my hair washed within 10min. The staff there is amazing!!! Beautiful and cool sistas that loved on my hair I cannot thank them enough. Thank you Boobie and staff for a truly wonderful experience!!!

ABSOLUTELY the best and I am referring to Bobbie!!! Even though this was my first time seeing her my experience was VERY warm felt! It really felt like home there. After going to several different locticians from Alabama to California and now here in Nevada. I have hit the jackpot! The way she washed my hair OMG she wasn't scared and it felt like heaven on earth to my head! I had a hanging dread that wanted to run away from my head, but she snapped that dread back in place just like that( I was like well check you tf out Bobbie lol).
