Birdhouse Jewelry
Amy Lapierre, owner of Birdhouse Jewelry, started making jewelry in 1992 in a class at School at Visual Arts. Having graduated from Barnard College with degrees in Art History and Latin, she loved classical jewelry and found the Jewelry Arts Institute to learn granulation, chain making and other ancient techniques.

Working at The Frick Collection and going to school at night for jewelry making at Craft Students' League and other art schools, she eventually started selling her work at craft shows and shops, and became a production manager for several jewelry companies. Working freelance in the diamond district and getting jewelry made for small companies gave her industry experience and knowledge.
Services
Many years ago I did a lot of craft shows and artist markets, and had tiny birdhouse and songbird charms made to add as a signature charm to my jewelry. I still use them today as a little detail, added into necklaces or dangling from a clasp. Yes to both - gift cards can be purchased in any amount, with no fees and no expiration date.
