Movement First Performance Therapy was formed with the idea that treatment should be patient-centered, with a focus on quality over quantity. We are slightly different from your regular PT clinic, in that we believe physical therapy should be offered in a one-on-one setting with the patient having direct contact with a trained provider.
MFPT does not use techs or aides during treatment sessions, with patients having individualized attention from a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy for all visits. I've had to undergo physical therapy a few different times and Abby was the first therapist that offered customized sessions that catered to my specific needs!

Services
Movement First Performance Therapy was founded by a Doctor of Physical Therapy with the belief that all individuals deserve quality patient care, provided by a trained provider, not rehab aides. Our providers aim to treat in a holistic manner, addressing more than pain at a specific body region.
Care is provided in a one-on-one, cash-pay basis to allow providers to spend more quality time with patients, allowing for greater levels of improvement, and improved results.Dr. Abigail Craanen, PT, DPT, is a practicing physical therapist in Beaumont, Texas. She has practiced primarily in the outpatient orthopedic setting and has achieved recognition as a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.

From treating pain and dysfunction, to improving overall performance, we have you covered. PT services are available both in-person and via telehealth/video chat for those with pain or injuries that may limit activity levels. Pain should not be the norm, and PT aims to address the cause of pain or dysfunction while improving your ability to complete your desired activities.
Movement First Performance Therapy operates as a cash-pay provider. This means that services are paid for out of pocket, with insurance not directly billed by the clinic. Many insurances will allow you to submit a superbill (provided by MFPT) and may provide reimbursement for physical therapy services.
