Services
Since 2008 our martial arts program for kids, teens and adults provides exciting training in the art of Taekwondo, but more importantly in character development and leadership skills. Our high energy and fitness oriented classes are fun and challenging. Through emotion we are elevating child's speed and depth of learning.

At Reveal Summer Camps your child (ages 5-12) will get tons of summer fun while learning in a fun, safe and structured program.

Before starting Reveal’s Martial Arts and Leadership program, our lives looked very different. My 11 year old daughter would often fight me in both her homeschooling and chores, and just want to get lost in the virtual world. She also struggled with self-confidence, coordination, and self-discipline. I started my four-year-old daughter at Reveal Martial Arts about a month ago. She loves going to class! The staff knew her (and myself) by name after our very first intro class. We have taken our son to Reveal for the past 3 years and we honestly can't imagine our son growing up without all the lessons he has learned on the mat. Our son has not only benefitted from the rigorous workouts but also in the self-confidence that he has built-up. When "it takes a village" these are the people you want to surround your child and influence them. How often does someone talk to your child about integrity or perseverance? We joined Reveal Martial Arts about 6 months ago. My son was stuck in his room, only wanted to play video games and really struggling. We immediately recognized the positive environment of the staff.
He wanted to quit at first but we took Mr. Spicar’s advise of just keep coming. It has made such a huge difference. He now loves going to karate. His self esteem has risen tremendously. He is showing dedication and commitment to things outside of karate. I smile every time my request is met with a yes sir or ma’am.
He always comes out sweaty and happy. I am so glad we decided to start this studio

Our 8 year old daughter loves Reveal and all of their instructors. We have been going here a few years now and she has so much fun. She gets great exercise while also learning important life skills such as respect, determination, and perseverance. The instructors and owners really care about each and every student and know them all by name. They even go the extra mile to counsel them on a personal level when asked by the parent. You can tell it is more than just a business to them. I highly recommend Reveal!

We love Reveal Martial Arts! My 4 year old loved karate/ninjas/power rangers and wanted to try out a class to see how he’d like it. Well, he LOVED IT! And so did we. The owners, the Spicars, are so kind and professional and great with ALL kids. My son’s instructor, Mr. Wells, is wonderful with their age group, they have so much fun and learn not only new skills, but discipline and respect! It’s wonderful to see! My 5yr old had some trouble with coordination and core strength and though he had been begging to go to karate since watching several TV shows with ninjas it was when his doctor recommended we go through with it we decided to look for a studio. We went to 3 different highly rated studios in the area and helped our son make a list of the good and bad in each to decide where to go. I started up classes here about 2-3 months ago with the same expectations as my last school years ago. I was instantly taken aback and surprised when I found how helpful, friendly, and professional the staff was! Classes here are great! They have an awesome balance between fun and exercise as well as an amazing class structure. Chief Instructor Brian Garcia does a great job keeping everything in order during every class, kids and adults alike, all while keeping it exciting. The best part about Reveal is that the class structure remains the same throughout each location as well as the class schedule

Spicars has a wonderful program that is offered to children, teens, and adults. They provide a positive atmosphere that teaches not only martial arts, but respect, confidence, goal setting, leadership skills, and self defense. Our child has grown so much from this program and will soon be a black belt. She has become more confident in school and other activities. We regret not starting her in this program sooner. Their dedication to ensuring that students are successful is beyond amazing. This is a wonderful program for any age.

The Spicars have created an atmosphere that is friendly for adults and children alike. I signed up four months ago at 56 years old along with my Wife and Daughter and we have been able to work at a pace that each of us can handle individually. Their conditioning and training program has made such a positive difference in my physical condition. My daughter has been attending classes at Spicars for over 4 years. In that time she has gained confidence, strength, coordination and a sense of accomplishment. There is a main focus on the martial arts but also a lot attention to being a responsible member of your family and community. She has struggled through some of the more challenging forms and asked to quit more than once but has learned how perseverance and determination has paid off now that she is a first degree black belt. This is an excellent program with great instructors and I cannot imagine taking her anywhere else as she works

Extraordinarily positive coaching and instruction. Both the Spicars and their carefully selected instructors have a way of building each child's confidence and self esteem. The instructors are absolutely outstanding role models for the children. They are teaching discipline, manners, and how to carry themselves even in the face of bullies. My oldest (7 years) son went to summer camp at Spicar this summer and loved it. I initially signed him up for one week at the beginning of the summer but purchased two additional weeks. Adam and his wife are very pleasant. The studio is very clean but most importantly the curriculum was an excellent balance of discipline, exercise and fun. We will use them again next summer and are also signing up our oldest and middle sons for weekly lessons.

Looking for the best martial arts/karate studio in Southlake? Look no further! Adam and Lucy Spicar are the best! So supportive with students while instilling them with discipline and respect. My son started at Spicar about 7 months ago. He really loves it. He has made friends that are diverse in all cultures which is a huge plus and goal in raising our son. He has learned mental and physical discipline as well as respect and commitment to himself and others.
