As the very first rickhouse tenant, Battle Axes, LLC is proud to call the James E. Pepper Distillery our home. We are located at 1170 Manchester Street, Suite 160, on the side with the giant mural. Want to hit the town but not sure where to go? Start with the walkable, historic Pepper Campus in the Lexington Distillery District near downtown Lexington.

Services
Please do not call to alert us of a change in party size unless it affects the number of pits required. Private pits accommodate up to 10 players; parties of 10 or fewer will not be split among multiple pits; parties of more than 10 will automatically be split between multiple pits.
Parties will be held accountable to pay for their entire reservation; i.e., if 2 hours are reserved but players choose to leave after 1, they will still be charged for 2.Any discounts or special pricing will be done at completion and cash out of your event at the store. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will incur a charge equivalent to 50% of the total reservation.

Battle Axes has partnered with some local favorites, so that we may offer our guests discounted prices for different food options for parties or group events. All orders must be placed with Battle Axes a minimum of 48 hours in advance of your reservation. Payment must be made to Battle Axes at the time your order is placed.
Battle Axes, LLC is fully-insured. We do not disclose information about our insurance coverage for competitive reasons. A copy of our liability waiver, which must be signed by all guests before throwing or spectating, is available online and at our location. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your reservation to complete waiver(s) and purchase refreshments.
Act in a friendly, patient, and respectful manner towards guests and colleagues at all times. Be 20 or older, and either hold a valid driver's license or provide proof of reliable transportation. We are also looking for Lobby Coordinators and Hosts to welcome and register our guests prior to their scheduled pit times.

Beer and throwing axes, what could go wrong? Absolutely nothing.
Great venue. All the staff are friendly and courteous! Great selection of beer. Can select from multiple axe weights and throw either single or double handed.
Staff are free with critiques both constructive and humorous. All around great time. I highly recommend trying if you have not already done so.

Its alot of fun, took my wife and daughter. Both really enjoyed it, our "Pit Boss" was Evan, really nice dude even had stickers to give out for for first bullseye. Good beer selection as well, nothing better then getting drunk and throwing dangerous objects. They also have throwing stars, cards and sometimes throwing knives as well

This place is the BOMB!!!! What a fun outing. Bring your date here, your family or a group of friends. There is a lane guide who helps you learn to throw the axes and once you get the hang of it, you are addicted. An hour will fly by. Fun atmosphere and great staff. You can also get some great brews here and local drinks (they have a beverage cooler). Arrive a bit early if it's your first time so you can take care of signing the waiver, which they make easy. They have the waiver automated and on multiple ipad stations to move your entire group on to their lane efficiently. I cannot wait to go back

What an awesome venue! Looking for something to do in Lexington? Head down to the Distillery District and try out this super fun and entertaining venue. Staff was extremely helpful. Clean and comfortable enough for an active environment. Pit boss was informative, friendly and encouraging for all of our group. Prices per person, beer and merch were all dead on for the fun that was had. We will be back! Thanks Battle Axes!!!
