Sweet Seniors is a Maine Licensed Level IV Residential Care Facility. Located in the heart of East Millinocket, Maine. Our facility is housed in the original East Millinocket, Great Northern Paper Guest House. The original house has received many updates and is now a 16-bed facility caring for men and women of the Katahdin Area since 1997.
At Sweet Seniors residents are provided with a comfortable home, caring staff, home cooked meals and social interaction. There is an Activities Director on site to keep residents involved, interested and moving. Residents are encouraged to be as independent as they like with the security of helpful aids ready to assist with the spectrum of daily living tasks.

Services
Sweet Seniors offers a Nutritionist approved meal plan. Three meals a day are provided. Lunch is the main and largest meal served at Noon. Residents are required to come to the dinning room to receive food services unless they are unwell and wish to eat in their room. The kitchen staff provide custom meal plans for those with dietary restrictions.
Sweet Seniors has been Family Owned since 1997. The Katahdin Area has been home to the Rioux family since the 1970's. As business owners and residents of the area the Rioux Family recognizes the unique needs of those aging around us. Sweet Seniors serves a special role in our community and the Rioux Family is committed to maintaining quality care, in a comfortable home for those aging in the shadows of Katahdin.
We are always looking for dedicated individuals to join our caring team of health care staff. Nutrition opportunities may also be available.
If you enter the facility as a private pay resident the office will guide you through the process of applying for MaineCare when the time comes. As an existing resident you are granted the right to remain within the facility while transitioning to MaineCare and there after. YES! Men and women are always welcome and will be admitted depending on availability.
