I have waited almost 2 weeks for Coastal Aire to move my air condition unit just several feet. Today (4/27/20) was my appointment with them. I have stayed home all day waiting for them, At 3;45 pm they called to say that I need to pick another date as they could not make it. I talked to Mario, who was very rude on the phone to me, as I told him that I waited all day at home. He said that everyone is home anyway. I have my own business and work everyday. I will never do business with this company again and I urge you the same.

Andy Serfoss was aggravated because we do not currently install rain gutters. Note: Coastal Aire & Sheet Metal was the very 1st seamless rain gutter installer, here in the Carson Valley. Since then three additional rain gutter installers began this type of service, all three are former employees. We are primarily a HVAC contractor. We had put the rain guttering on temporary hold due to extreme weather conditions. Realize, our telephone book add is published long in advance. This prospective customer was out-of-sorts, due to what I have just explained. Furthermore, we have been in business 29 years

My A/C was not working. Coastal Aire came out and checked the system. I was told the system was empty. The tech pressure tested the system and couldn't find a leak. He recharged the system and charged me $682.00 Three weeks later the system was empty again. I called Coastal Aire and was told if I purchased a new unit I may get a discount. I was told he would have to call me back. They never called.

Had Justin by to check out the air and heating systems. He answered all my questions and gave me a short HVAC education. Price was more than reasonable for the work done - even put in a new thermostat (old one must have been 20 years old, like the house)
He said that the igniter should be replaced when we do the fall inspection.

They installed the HVAC system in our new house, based on a recommendation by our very experienced general contractor. Did a great job. Everything worked just fine for six months.
We had an issue six months later where the heat would not come on. I called on a Friday and they sent out their tech, Sean Eldredge, on Saturday. He diagnosed the issue almost immediately and repaired it. He also resolved a problem we had noticed with excessive noise from our system.
These guys know what they are doing and are competent and efficient. Bravo!
