Xenophobic- I used to be a loyal customer (went there for two years), but someone, an older lady, picked up the phone and was not receptive. The stylist I typically got my hair done from left, so we were working on getting a new stylist to simply trim my hair. The older lady was struggling to coordinate & set up a time. She even hung up on me! I don't even have a that thick of an accent, and English is my first language. I have never had this experience of such unprofessionalism before. I would not recommend this place to anyone of the international community, especially if you have an accent.

I've been going to Michael Garcia's for about 8 years now, and I have no plans to change this anytime soon. They are highly professional, and the staff is absolutely amazing. I've consistently been getting my hair cut and colored by Katy Mullings and she does AMAZING work. Everyone thinks my hair color is naturally red :)

Such sweet people here. Get an appointment with anyone here as I've never heard of anyone having a bad cut here! My hairstylists have really listened to me and figured out what looks best on my head. It can be a little expensive for a college student like me, but it's a treat to go worth it to dress up for big events

I haven’t been here in years but I scheduled an appointment a few weeks ago for a quick wash + style because my usual place was booked.
It was not a good experience. First of all, the staff there were all complaining about one another. This is the exact reason I hadn’t been back in years and nothing has changed! One stylist was saying no one cleans, one was complaining out loud about having to be there at work, and the other kept taking products from my stylist’s table because she couldn’t find her own. This would be fine except they were products my stylist was trying to use so there

I had a great experience with the stylist Bobby- he really took the time and did a great job for a shampoo and style to give me confidence for my engagement pics later that day. Unfortunately, and no fault to him, when I called to make the appointment, a significantly different price was given than what I was charged. When I notified the receptionist of the error, she was unwilling to rectify this. I would love to go back to Bobby, but cannot return when I never know what I'll be paying for services.

I love this salon. I have been going here for years, and about 4 different people have done my hair. Every experience is a good one, the stylists and other workers are always friendly and talented. The prices are a bit high compared to something like great clips (my haircuts are normally around $40 plus tip for medium-length hair), but it is absolutely worth it. They really are amazing.
