Unlike some establishments where hired hands dispense samples, at Trout Springs husband-and-wife Steve and Andrea DeBaker--the owners and winemakers--are the only ones doing the pouring. Learn about the winery and the delectable wine you're tasting directly from the experts!
For those romantics and nature lovers who think camping is cool but not for you-no bed, no hotel, no amenities, no way-we've got something that might make happy campers out of you: glamour camping, or glamping as it's called. And we recently upped our glamping game. We replaced our tent with a spacious 240-square-foot, three-seasons cabin.

Services
Trout Springs Winery, which is owned by husband-and-wife Steve and Andrea DeBaker, is actually a division of Branch River Farms--Wisconsin's only licensed fish hatchery, plant nursery, and winery all under one roof! Unique all right. Just like the man behind the scenes. Steve can best be described as a self-educated entrepreneur.
Guilty as charged. Twenty years have taught us that making good wine requires a freakish dedication to detail and commitment to quality over quantity. But we take it to the next level times 10, because Trout Springs Winery is one of the few Wisconsin wineries that use its own grapes, producing what is called an estate bottled wine.
We love wine. We love people. So we especially love serving wine to customers and making new friends in our cozy tasting room. We serve seven samples for $5. Wine by the glass and/or bottle are available for purchase, of course. Wednesday-Sunday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekends only: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday- Sunday: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Our Little Cabin in the Vineyard is perched on a platform and outfitted with a queen-size bed and furniture, refrigerator, microwave and lights. Plus your own outdoor restroom is included (that's the extent of roughing it). Meals are optional, wine essential. It's a pretty romantic way to experience a winery.
Trout Springs Winery has a picturesque vineyard, overlooking pergola, and a new event room with views of water and woods. We have a full commercial kitchen on site, and indoor seating that can accommodate up to 64 (large tents can be rented for larger venues). We offer custom packages ranging from full dinners to receptions.

They are the ONLY Napa Valley certified winery in the state of Wisconsin.
They hold many prestigious awards for their wines.
The new line of beers is unbelievable good. ( and I dislike beers). My husband disliked wines until we stopped on a wedding anniversary trip. THAT was close to 15 years ago.
Stop in, meet Andrea and Steve (the owners), listen to how they became Trout Springs Winey.
Maybe find a favorite wine or beer.
Oh meet the swans, corgies and the trout.

The owners are amazing, genuine individuals who truly enjoy the land and the products they produce. Also some interesting history behind how they got started, naming of certain products and a cute line of corgi dog helpers. Great selection of wine and even more amazing beer tastes! The fisnet amber ale is my favorite! We also took part in their glamping experience. Tranquil and cozy with a vineyard charm. Most importantly they followed covid guidelines and took extra precautions.

We stopped in October of 2014. True the winery isn't the fanciest place and the wines cost a bit more per bottle than most, but the wines we tried were excellent. There were only oyster crackers for us as well, but they were fresh. We bought the Cranberry and the Autumn Rouge wines. The Cranberry was the best Cranberry we tried all fall. I prefer the sweeter wines so I was surprised that I really liked the Autumn Rouge. I made the best beef roast with it and of course drank some while I cooked! I'm hoping to stop again this June when I head to Door County. We stopped at Parallel 44 after Trout
