To get started with in-home health care for your loved one, you'll need to determine your loved one's eligibility to receive Medicare & Medicaid home health care in Ohio. You or your loved one is under the care of a doctor, with an established home health plan of care (POC) or treatment protocol.
You or your loved one had an in-person meeting with a physician (or allowed NPP) regarding your reason for home health services, within 90 days before your home health care services begin.Ohio offers Medicaid Waivers to allow eligible individuals with disabilities and chronic conditions to receive care in their homes and communities rather than in long-term care facilities.

The home nurses are incredible!! Very caring and my nurse is so thorough!
However, I'm not impressed with the home aide. There's a 5 page front and back list of things, documented from my case manager that needs done daily and weekly. And she's skipping out on stuff.
I feel she should know what to do and should have gotten a list of requirements and work accordingly.
I have yet to see a physical therapist and it's been ordered 3 times or more.
My housemate has Altimate also and is seeing a PT right now and his case was opened just last week..
On the website it says they provide respiratory

Please don't let those 5 stars fool you, this company is INCOMPETENT & UNPROFESSIONAL the aid came out to see my Mother before the nurse even did and my Mom takes proscriptions so i ask, " how the hell is my Mom suppose to take her meds if the aid can't give them to her"??? No proper anwser of course... This company is not really into helping the client they're just wanting to get paid by the health insurance companies. So disappointed that i even considered them to help my Mom... I don't know how the hell they have 5 stars, needs to be out of business. Not to mention her aid Jakki doesn't like
