Introducing our founder Peter Slifko, Jr. Mr. Slifko was an accountant in the Navy during World War II, stationed in the San Francisco area. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Mr. Slifko worked as a staff accountant for General Motors. When his wife became ill he quit working to take care of her.
