Gershon Psychological Associates, LLC was founded in 2007 by Drs. Michael and Jonathan Gershon. Our company was formed to create a behavioral health service that provided high quality treatments with experienced and professional staff. We pride ourselves on being responsive to individuals who contact us and scheduling as quickly as possible.
We have numerous modes of therapy available and our clinicians have a variety of theoretical orientations. An intake appointment is the first step in setting up a therapy relationship. One of the clinicians will meet with you to discuss in more detail the current concerns. He/she will make suggestions about the best treatment approach and the best match for your particular needs.

Very diapointed was looking forward in getting my children in for services and after 30 days chasing appointments for consoling after my son had 3 hour evaluation. They tell me he has to be referred out wth. Why could you not tell me this 30 days ago. Not a follow up call what kind of business are they running. We should be told from the beginning they will refer out. Secondly took foster child in for intake he was not even seen they just talk to me then tell me I would get call by end of following week that never happened. SMH

I have experienced the upmost professional and caring treatment from the therapeutic staff/doctors at Gershon. The front desk staff at the time (it's been 7 months since I've been back) leaves a little to be desired in their friendliness, but they get the job done. My therapist, Kate Whipple is by far the best I've seen/talked with and I have been to many therapists trying to find the right match for my issues and personality. Those with mental illness and trauma knows that is no easy feat. She goes out of her way to find material that relates to issues you're going through, which can help you

STAY FAR AWAY!!! My 7 year old was diagnosed with adhd and the only thing they did for him was push his appointments off and reschedule. They never answer the phone or return voicemails! I took him out of there and found a MUCH better Psychologist. I requested his records which they refused to give. I called every single day, left voicemails, his new Psychologist even called and left messages, to no avail. I will be taking this higher.

Nancy embleton walked into her tiny office for therapy and she swore at me saying " is it the same BS or something new?" Medical tactic is called gaslighting and then she also was logged into facebook during appt and said to me that she gets away with a lot behavior wise because she has "charisma" with her patients. i reported her for this several times and as of last check she still works there. and with dr. Jessica fortunato did my testing and i walked out after i finished for that day like in 2013 or 2014 time frame and as i walked out of office i had a anxiety attack and these havent stopped
