The Rusty Nail Winery
The Rusty Nail Winery is family-owned and female-led, with mother Debbie and daughters Melissa and Leah at the helm. Debbie began making wine as a hobby and passion project, but it soon took off with requests from friends and family. Today, Debbie and Melissa operate as business partners, but the whole family supports the winery in less official capacities.

We moved into our current residence in downtown Sulphur, Oklahoma, in 2010, and we were surprised to find buckets of rusty nails in the far corners of the space. This discovery sparked an interest in the history of our space and we began investigating. Originally constructed in 1906, our building was home to a hardware store.
Services
From I-35: Take Exit 55 and drive east (through Davis) on Hwy 7 for 11 miles. In Sulphur, turn left (north) on West Third Street, just after City Hall, and drive one block. We're located on the NE corner of West Third and Muskogee Avenue. From Hwy 177: Take Hwy 7 (Broadway) west at the four-way stop located at the entrance to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area.
We specialize in custom wines made from the highest quality varietals and the finest juices. While wineries may conjure images of grapevines, we actually begin our winemaking process from the juice rather than by the grape - this allows us to offer a wider variety of quality wines than we could otherwise, given the limitations of our location, climate, and soil.
Our tasting room is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12 to 8 p.m. and we offer wines by the taste, by the glass, or by the bottle. Tasting flights range in price from $5.50 to $6.50. Our wines are available exclusively at The Rusty Nail Winery so make sure you drop by for a unique tasting event. Regardless of your experience level with wine, we'd love to help you find the perfect wine for you.
Our bistro is now open again! Staff are wearing masks and all tables are set 6' apart to ensure safe social distancing. If you are not comfortable visiting in person yet, you can still order our food for curbside pickup during normal business hours, 12 to 8 PM Tuesday through Saturday. Please call us at (580) 622-8466 to place your order from the below items.
While you are in the neighborhood, you might as well kick back and stay awhile. We encourage you to take advantage of all the wonderful things that Murray County has to offer. There are also many places to stay if you're looking for a weekend get-away! The Lake of the Arbuckles is a perfect place for fishing, camping, boating, skiing, and bird-watching.

Gift shop, wine tasting, & bistro!
Ended up buying around 7 bottles of wine & some gifts. They have a rewards program & we already got a free bottle of wine!
We had spinach & artichoke dip & a soup of the day (forgot the name but it had potatoes, Italian sausage, bacon & cream), very delicious & fulfilling.
Very welcoming atmosphere & cool place to enjoy yourself & relax.

My friends and I visited the Rusty Nail Winery last night. The atmosphere was quaint and the wine tasting was incredible. We four all had different tastes, and were very passionate about our favorite. Kat helped make our ladies night out fun, and the owner, Debbie, was nice too. Thank you so much for making our evening so special. We will be back very soon!

Cute place, we had ordered the wine flight but never got our last taste, we got tired of waiting so long between pours. We were ignored even though we sat right at the bar. I guess there were more of important people there are something. The wines were only so so but good service always makes thing better. Unfortunately It was lacking. We ordered the artichoke dip which was very bland. A couple of the wines we tried were just okay. I don't ever give out zero stars but if I am sitting right there for a wine tasting you need to pay attention.

Kat I think was supposed to be waiting on us

Fun tasting and the store is very cute with boutique items. Quite a large wine selection. I prefer dry reds normally, but I actually left with three sweets {2 of which where whites}. Service was a little strange as we had 3 different people service the 5 tastings and I feel that made it take a bit longer than I was expecting. We also weren't greeted for quite some time even though the place only had a handful of customers. Seemed a bit disorganized with staff. But, it may be a fluke and overall, we really enjoyed it.

Six of us popped in and enjoyed the store as well as our tastings. Kind, knowledgeable servers. Creative use of space. And delicious wines -- a great selection of dry, sweet, and fruit fusion wines! 🍷

There is nothing rusty about this winery. From their production to their service, the service and the personnel are polished. If you come in during a slow day, be prepared to hear some great stories from the vintner, Kat, and Jack, who works behind the bar. They have a great selection of wines, and you will find something you like.

While visiting Sulphur last month we decided to try The Rusty Nail since we had heard such good things. Here are our thoughts: the place is quite outdated and seems marketed towards an older crowd. The wine was good, but the food was below average (queso was just velveeta and rotel). A lot of the merchandise was covered in dust.

Here was my biggest problem. The owner was sitting at the bar while her friends (all older crowd), talked about complete racist, ignorant, and offensive political commentary. The owner was also partaking in the conversation. We were so appalled that not only was she letting

My husband and I visited Rusty Nail during a visit to the area in January. The servers were wearing masks and tables in the back area were pretty well distanced. We ordered queso- the large serving cost $8 and we were disappointed to taste the familiar Velveeta and Rotel combination (still tasty, but I could make it at home). We shared a flight, and the same glass was used for each tasting, so we occasionally had overlapping flavors which can throw off the experience.
The wine was decent- I love sweet wines but even some of the fruity ones were too much for me! Everyone has different tastes for

I debated whether or not I wanted to write this review, but since I was there this past Friday and it is now Tuesday and i find myself STILL bothered by my experience I figured I should share.

I will start off by saying that I really liked their wine, they are on the sweeter side, but I like sweet wine, so it was perfect for me. The reason for the low scoring review is completely based upon my experience with the staff. I was on a mommy's weekend out with my girlfriends this weekend. Every year we take a little trip somewhere to unwind and getaway. Upon entering the winery we sat

I love this place. If I had one wish (but I'm not docking a star for this) is that the bar area held more seats. The wines are really good. I like the Pinot Grigio is my favorite. Also this place has food. My favorite thing to eat is the Spinach dip. For what it's worth - the Spinach Dip is worth the drive.

The Staff: Everyone here is so nice. Mostly ladies is all I've seen working and they are all super fun. Maybe it's because I'm drinking wine :)

We were visiting Sulphur and we're heading out of town. We went out of our way to stop at the wine shop. I wanted to buy wine for my daughter-in-laws. It was 11:45 and when I got to the door I read they opened at noon. I tried the door just in case it was open. The door opened and a lady walked out and said "were not open" she was very rude and walked past me. I said "we are heading out of town and I want to buy 4 bottles of wine" she pointed to the door and said "were not open" she walked away and was yelling at me as I walked across the street saying they weren

What a great little Tasting Room. The Rusty Nail Winery is filled with delectable wines, a drink and draw station, and an area filled with gifts and goodies for anyone enthusiastic.

The hubby and I had a tasting here. For me the standout was the Gold Digger Chardonnay. Our other favorite was the Pinot Noir. The wait staff is very attentive, and equally Pleasant. The tasting area also serves food, and is just off the gift shop area. The Rusty Nail Winery buys their juice from California and then create there where is in Oklahoma. You get a tasting for $6 which includes five wines. You can then

Wine was good, service was slow...probably due to very poor attitudes. All of the people working were seriously disgruntled (loudly complaining about the boss) and should probably seek happiness in a different line of work. That ruined the experience of our wine tasting. Unless you are on a wine trail and need the code for your book, skip this one.

Wines were horribly sweet if you can even call them wines. More like juice. Gave it a star because the staff was great. If you're an actual wine drinker don't bother. If you like wine that tastes beyond sweet, this is your spot.

Enjoyed this little spot. It should be called a tasting room and not a winery. I didn't see any wines that were locally produced. All were from California. Mostly sweet wines. Bought a couple of bottles.

Talk about finding a diamond in the rough. My wife and I were on a weekend getaway. We just happened to look online to see a winery in Sulphur, OK. So, we take the drive and stop in for a glass. What an amazing experience. The owners are so friendly and the wine is excellent. I've been to a lot of Winery's in Texas and by far this is the best one I've been to. They have tables and a bar to sit down for either a tasting or a great glass of wine. Their food is all home made and is fantastic. We spent over 3 hours there just enjoying a few glasses and talking to the owners. They have

Rusty Nail Winery is a quaint little winery in the heart of Sulfur Oklahoma. We had the pleasure of visiting this winery, during our stay at The Artesian Hotel; which is down the road. The staff is very pleasant and generous. They have a great selection and varieties of wines that taste great. Also the fact that the theme of the winery is ladies high heeled shoes with a combination of an old retired hardware store is not a bad attraction either. I would say if you are a wino this is a place you surely cannot afford to miss.

The Rusty Nail is a lovely winery in downtown Sulphur, and I had the chance to visit as part of our Yelp road trip (and then come back later on my own for even more goodness). The staff are extremely friendly, and I love the fun layout of the place; it's great for a snack, a tasting, or simply to restock the wine cellar.* We've been lucky enough to sample a wide variety of offerings, and their Back To The Island is my hands down favorite. The wines overall consistently confound my expectations: Their selling point is definitely fruity, extremely sweet wines ... some of the sweetest I
