I had 2 service calls in one week, one for my business and one
for my residence.
I placed the call for the business location at the end of the
day and a service tech was at my office by 0900 the next day. He had me up and running within 1 hour.
My home unit went down on a Saturday at 1400 and within 55 minutes
the tech was at my front door. He had me up and running shortly and
I was able to watch the football games in a cool house !
I have been a happy customer of Engineered Air for 12 years and will
continue to use their services.

New construction with a dehumidifier. Dehumidifier wasn't working efficiently. Said their was a small leak and refilled refrigerant. Offered to have unit replaced for 2K even with warrantee due to difficulty of install. System was installed by them less than 5 years ago. If it was difficult to install, they should have been more proactive. Common issue in community. Found vents not properly sealed from original install. Just not reliable with quality work. Tech didn't seem interested in really solving my problem or making sure the entire system worked properly. Just looked at one thing.

New construction - there was a sound coming from my HVAC unit when I put in a new filter. The tech knew exactly why and fixed it. Very good service.

When I turned on my heater last month, it was making this loud, clanging noise and I decided to record it for the technician to hear as the noise was unusual and wasn’t consistent. I called a previous a/c company and the tech couldn’t figure it out - even had him listen to the recording. He checked it and found nothing. Granted the tech didn’t take the time to take the unit apart to actually see what the issue was.
This morning at 4:30am I woke up to the horrible clanging noise. Frustrated, I recorded the noise again and called Engineered Air (the company that installed the unit). The technician

We have used Engineered air to both repair existing A/C units and install 2 new ones. Unfortunately while some of their services are top notch the company is currently non-responsive to warranty issues involving one of the A/C they installed a mere 4 months ago. In fact, the air-handler portion of the system actually caught on fire but was contained in the unit. The motor actually melted (the unit is a Ruud). Our local (Delray Beach) Fire Department was on site, to assure nothing continued to burn or the fire spread.
So far (over a week later) we haven't HEARD from Engineered Air or Ruud

I have been a service customer of engineered air for several years, but they now have two strikes. Twice I had a problem with my AC within two weeks of it being serviced (no problems before that). I pay a lot for the semiannual service, yet BOTH times they charged me for the visits when the ACs stopped working. I should not have needed either follow-up visit if it had been serviced properly the first time around. This most recent time, my husband had followed diagnostic steps on nest to try and fix the AC as it went out in the evening (85 degrees and two babies in the house). The service technician

Horrible service! Can never talk to anyone that can help me. They only have high school graduates answering the phone and no professional able to correct the problem they started. I would think twice before using this company!

I noticed increase usage of the A/C with my nest thermostat, in addition the cooling seemed inefficient in my home. When I came out the technician said I needed a motor for the fan. I know the motor in my new unit was fried due to running constantly and unpleasant technician refused to look at the system other that change the motor the next day. I received no follow up from management after calling. Motor works, still not cool here. Ill never use them again.

Unfortunately, my family's experience with Engineered Air has gone from bad to worse.

Two days ago, we returned from our summer vacation to find water coming through our first floor ceiling at four places. The water was coming from an A/C unit installed by Engineered Air. I immediately called EA and left a voicemail on the 24-hour emergency line. This time, someone called back and told me that a technician could come, but that I may have to pay for the repairs and damage. This was disheartening since the units EA installed have never worked properly since installation last year. We have had

Our AC is 2 years old went out today. called our service they told us to have a person come out was 150 plus parts service and labor. the tech came out and determined it was a bad float, but after 35 minutes he installed a new float and rewired it with other wires. This was a total of 343 dollars wow thats 20 dollar a minute. i mean i looked up the floater on the internet it was 16 dollars really. never again will I use this company. i was grateful for the tech came out so late and was courteous , not his fault shame on the company for charging 125 dollars for a floater.

An enjoyable experience throughout the entire process.

I had a dinner party scheduled and my ac decided to quit working. I was very upset and needed someone out to my house immediately. I called several local ac companies and Engineered Air was the only company that was kind and professional over the phone. The lady I spoke with did explain to me that there were several customers ahead of me, but a tech would be sent my way asap. When the tech arrived at my house he was thorough and explained to me that my line was clogged and performed an ac maintenance right then and there. He was upfront with

If a negative star was available that is exactly what they deserve. Horrible customer service. Have worked with many ac companies and by far they are the worst. All the secretary was talking about was how high my light bill will be.... I am sorry thats none of their concern. The only thing they should be worried about is making my home cooled. I understand 68 which would be my ideal temperature is impossible in this Miami weather, but 75 (not even 75 is where it stays. 79 is the temperature it has been staying) is too hot where all my neighbors who has the exactly same units same home size keep
