Dr. Emily Malmstrom (Gartner) was born and raised in Omaha, NE. After attending Millard North High School and Creighton University, Dr. Malmstrom completed her Chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 2009 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. At Palmer, Dr. Malmstrom was involved in numerous clubs and activities that helped promote Chiropractic in the community as well as advance her education.

On you first visit to Gartner Chiropractic, you will be asked to fill out several pieces of paperwork so the Doctor can get a comprehensive picture of your condition. The nerves that control EVERY function of the body originate in the brain and travel through the spinal column. They exit the spinal column through little holes called foramina. When the spine is out of line, what we Chiropractors call a "subluxation", the foramina gets smaller, making it harder for the nerve to pass through.
Many people in Omaha have the idea that chiropractic care is just a great way to treat back and neck pain. Here on business for a month, but got so bad I couldn't wait to see my chiro at home. Dr. Gartner was very thorough and took time to tailor my treatment just to my needs. She learns a lot and was very understanding without trying to push anything new on me, since I am already under treatment. I highly recommend her.
