Dr. Ahmed Fida chose to specialize in Family Medicine because it allows him to see his patients as complete individuals - not only a heart or a liver or a kidney. Family practice requires a physician to be an expert in all of these, and how they all interconnect with the whole person. Dr. Fida realizes every one of his patients wants to stay healthy so that they may work, take care of their families and enjoy life.
At Fauquier Health, our physicians are board-certified in interventional radiology. Our interventional radiology team specializes in the use of X-rays, MRI and other imaging technology to diagnose and treat a variety of diseases and conditions through minimally-invasive techniques.

During a procedure, the interventional radiologist will use the appropriate technology to help guide small instruments (catheters) through the vascular system or other pathways percutaneously (through the skin).Such procedures result in less risk, less pain and less recovery time for the patient.

After working as a clinical research volunteer in movement disorders at NINDS/NIH, she completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Prince George's Hospital and completed her residency in neurology at George Washington University Hospital.
Dr. Aron's strongest attribute is his ability to listen, understand and clearly communicate with his patients. Dr. Aron's philosophy as a provider is to assume a consultant role where he aspires to educate and guide patients throughout the various phases of their lives from the challenges of early adolescence, through their reproductive years and menopause.

I can not recommend Dr DeCastro more highly. I was seen by him after being diagnosed with a serious and urgent kidney ailment. Dr DeCastro saw me within a couple hours of my leaving the ER and immediately scheduled me for surgery. His manner and explanations to me were most impressive and I took an instant like to him. He is direct yet communicates with great compassionate and empathy.
I felt I was truly fortunate to be directed to this doctor, with a really friendly office staff as well.
