Once upon a time there was a heart doctor who was a "closet farmer" at heart. In the spring of 1982, longing to fulfill his dreams of cultivating the land, our founder, Dr. Maurice Rawlings, Sr., bought 52 serenely beautiful acres of land in the foothills of Lookout Mountain in the Northwest corner of Georgia.
Nestled in the cozy foothills of the Chattanooga Valley resides 15 acres full of wholesome, fruitful Muscadine vines. With the swooping foothills of the mountainside, the vineyard nurtures assorted varieties of organically grown Muscadine vines including Carlos, Noble, Fry, Regale, Jumbo, and Magnolia.

Review is not related to product but customer service. Purchased a bottle of wine to take home after vacation, the brown winery bag ripped on the bottom (from the seal, straight through the bottom) while holding it. Took it back to woman and showed the bottle slid right through the bottom and ripped, she offered zero help and was unconcerned. This was strictly based on the paper bag bottom which was very evident. We have been buying wine here on anniversary for 6 years, very disappointed in the experience and won’t be purchasing again.

Great tasting tours are offered here. Great to not only learn the history behind the winery and the area, but you get to sip the whole time as well! Adrian was a great guide and it's always nice to see a family business in the works. Sweet delicious wines. If you're a fan of dessert wines, try the sweet wines.

My wife and I visited for a wine tasting while on our anniversary vacation, and we absolutely loved it! Hunter was our bartender, and he couldn't have been more professional. His knowledge and love for wine made for a great tasting experience, and his recommendations lead to us buying two bottles. The wine is nothing short of excellent and we can't wait to come back! We will most definitely be recommending Georgia Winery to our friends and family, as the quality and price of the wine is near unbeatable, and the excellent service and warm welcome is unmatched!

We can't not stop here on our way up 75. Hunter was extremely helpful both times we stopped on this trip. Make sure to try a few samples of the jellies and wine. The blackberry and blueberry wines are exquisite.

This is a cute little winery is located in North Georgia not too far from the Ga/TN state line and about 1.5 hours from Atlanta. We stopped in on our ride to Chattanooga. They offer a daily free wine tasting where you can select up to 5 different wines to sample from their menu. I tried the Blueberry Blush, Southern Sangria, Scarlett, Muscadine, and Georgia on my Mind. All of them were pretty good except for the Blueberry Blush, it was extremely sweet. Almost a cross between grape juice and the taste of cough syrup. After our free tasting we ended up buying a couple of bottles of the Sangria and

We first tasted when we visited in Rock City. The slushies are amazing and such a great flavor and the wines we're awesome as well. Chattanooga blush was by far my favorite. The service from Becca was wonderful and the place was very beautiful. Even with our three kids it felt very laid-back. Would love to go back soon

Very nice local winery. Our hostess was very nice and it was a fun time tasting the wines and walking through some of the vineyards. They have a small set of grape rows just outside so you can taste the grapes off the vine. Good people there, good wine!

We enjoyed several tastings as well as the cheese plate which was delicious! We came home with Christmas gifts and a few bottles of the wines we loved, gold muscadine and southern blush, maybe? We also bought several of the cheeses that were featured on our plate to bring home. As soon as we left we decided that this would be a regular stop for us!

A small winery tucked in battlefield, with such great staff and delicious wine I would definitely come back! Becca was so sweet and so knowledgeable about all the wines! She suggested delicious tastings and even introduced me to mulled wine! Definitely took hole a couple of bottles of the Concorde and a mulled wine spice pack to make my own at home!

Love this place. 5 free samples during tasting! Local wine, local beer, sodas, and cheeses - all of which were splendid! Customer service got friendlier after I told them I was definitely buying 6 bottles. Was super impressed when we learned their sangria had 12% alcohol content... Nice!!! Each sample I loved dearly. And my kids came away with lots of dnacks- chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate truffles, etc. Look forward to our return!

This is the best little winery in Georgia! The wine is seriously the best , no matter how big of a wine snob you are. They have something for everyone!
I am partial to the Blackberry wine, Chattanooga blush, the Georgia On my Mind, the Niagara Falls.

You can taste test some of the wines at no cost. There is a small fee if you want to taste more than 5, and some the premium award winners.

They have tons of gifts for any wine lover and some gifts just for anyone in general. They also have some cheeses to go with that wine. You can pick the wine up chilled or at room temperature.
They also have

We discovered this spot due to the billboard on the side of I-75 & it was a good decision to stop. We enjoyed our free 5 wine samples. We discovered our new go to. We're in love with that Tara Bella, which is made of muscadines. It isn't strong, it has a slight hint of muscadines.

We ended up with a few bottles, because the prices are sooo good here. Nothing like good wine made in Georgia.

Location and parking: Location is right off I-75, really easy to find. Plenty of parking spots in their lot, so it would be stress free!
Drinks: We did ten wine tastings, and honestly it was really hard to pick a favorite. This winery specializes in sweet wine and each one seemed to be better than the other. Two names that come to mind are blackberry blush and tailgate red. They have a four page menu of whites, reds, to dry wines; Priscilla was beyond knowledgeable about the wines, describing each wine to what kind of grapes were used and how it was flavor packed. ALSO THE SLUSHIES!! They had

I came to Georgia Winery with the intention of getting a bottle of wine for a friend. I was passing through the area, which is about 20 minutes from Chattanooga and I thought it would make a nice gift. I had my heart set on getting the Southern Sangria ($14.95) after reading the description for it. When I arrived I noticed how spacious the interior was but headed to the tasting area on the left side. A staff member asked if I wanted to do a tasting and I told them that I knew which bottle I wanted to get but I wanted just a small tasting of just this to make sure before purchasing. In the middle

I've been to the Georgia Winery 10 years ago and they have definately come a long way!! I liked the dark red wine I took home at the time.
My boyfriend and I visited a week ago and was very impressed with the set up, wines and service.
You walk in, a hostess greets you and asked how they can help. We told her we wanted to do a wine tasting. Then she broke it down and showed us a menu. Once we got to the tasting area, we were waited on right away.
You get 5 free tastings (tiny oz pours)
We decided to do the dry wines and got:

Chardonnay
Tara bella
Merlot (love the peppery finish)
Cabernet
