Asphalt pavement is a mixture of aggregate (stones and sand) with liquid asphalt cement (a petroleum product). Varying sizes of aggregates are heated, then mixed, in exact proportions, with asphalt cement that has been liquefied at about 300°F. While the mixture is still hot, it is delivered to your property and placed atop a prepared base or subgrade.

Had an appointment for an estimate on a Monday. Showed up two days before on Saturday, I wasn't home.Then was a no-show Monday called asking to come Tuesday. I went with them and we scheduled an appointment three weeks out. They showed up in a week. In good faith I paid them in full before they were 100% finished. My mistake! I've been chasing him for two months to come back and fill in the gap in front of the garden. They apparently can't do a straight line you can see by the string in the picture. I wanted to put up a fence along that line. And there is a weak spot where just one

We had a driveway with a walkway put in by Hard Rock Paving, and they did a great job! Came quickly to give us an estimate and then started the job less than a week later. It looks beautiful and they did exactly what we wanted. They were also just a nice bunch of guys! I would recommend them highly.

Hardrock paving did an excellent job paving our old driveway that was in poor condition and was over 800 ft long. Thomas the owner was easy to work with and was more affordable than other companies. This company did not put 2-3 inches of asphalt on the drive way as contracted, the water does not run off to the side, and the entire driveway has lines, is not smooth and will probably crack with water. Contacted the owner, he repeatedly tells us when we drive on the asphalt, it will smooth out. We have had many driveways done and the finished product did not look like this; nor so the pictures posted on the page.

This paving company just left my driveway and without a doubt they were the best contractors that I’ve hired in years. The crew at Hard Rock made my new driveway look great; but as important, their attention to my questions and concerns was truly outstanding. I had three occasions to contact the owner (when work was not taking place at my home) over the 2 days it took to complete the job. Each time he called me back immediately; that rarely happens today. I highly recommend Hard Rock Paving and one other important factor to note is that their price was very competitive.
