Items are available for purchase seven days a week at House of Nutrition or by special order. Homemade bread is produced in the bakery including Rye, Onion Garlic Dill, 100% Whole Wheat, and Ezekiel.

House of Nutrition first opened it's doors in 1977 and has been serving organic, natural foods and holistic medicine to folks living in the Wyoming Valley and surrounding areas since. We carry a wide variety of groceries that cater to special needs including raw food, allergen-free, and gluten-free diets.
Located in House of Nutrition, we are an in-house deli creating healthy meal choices that are 100% homemade, using all natural and organic ingredients. Fresh green salads with all the trimmings, as well as tempting selections of vibrant vegetable and bean salad bowls (a meal in themselves).

This is the second time I bought The Beekeeper's Daughter honey and it was crystallized when I opened it. The jar has a pour spout which I couldn't use.
They said to put it in hot water
I already know this . I just don't expect this to happen from a new jar.
I have gotten the same brand from Hillside Farms and never had this happen.
Will be buying my honey from there from now on.

Great place when you are looking for nutrition alternatives and cute local handcrafted accessories as well as organic, animal friendly skincare. I wanted to give it a three....because I have to agree with some other reviewers regarding customer service. I have been a customer for seven years and I can only think of one lady at the front register who has been friendly like twice. Otherwise you walk in and no one says hello unless you do, no one offers help finding items. When you walk up to the register they are super snobby and yes, they seem annoyed that you are there. House of Nutrition is a conveniently located small store carrying a large variety of organic, health, and specially food. They also carry toiletries, supplements, housewares, and a small selection of gifts. The prices are rather steep on most items, in my opinion, but for non-dairy ingredients like alternatives to cheese and yogurt, the selection is good, and the prices are acceptable. The staff here are very pleasant and helpful, and the store is well-lit and usually fully stocked.

If i could give no star i would. Last week i noticed all their Alkaline Water pitcher filters were opened in the box. They took them off the shelf and said they will contact the mfg. Today i went back and theyre all back on the shelf again. Something funny is going down at HON...
Also they are over priced and you can buy anything you get there in Amazon for way cheeper and in bulk

My favorite grocery store. They don't just sell natural food products, but the natural lifestyle. The staff knows what they are talking about and are generally very helpful. They will place orders for products not in stock, and take product reviews and recommendations seriously. Very few places I've been to will do that.
