They take pride in every order and deliver gorgeous flowers. Over the years I've used Dons own for all occasion flowers. They're always perfect. I am lucky to have had them handle the flowers for our wedding. Multiple guests commented that they were the most gorgeous flowers they've seen at a wedding. I couldn't agree more! My fiancé and I decided to elope and have our ceremony in Geneva. An hour before our wedding we happened to walk by the flower shop and went in. Vicky was very welcoming and made the most beautiful bridal bouquet while we waited. I didn't really know what I wanted besides 'yellow', but after walking around and showing me some ideas, Vicky went ahead and picked out the perfect combination of flowers and leaves. Went last year in May for flowers for our wedding at Belhurst in August. Understandably it was a busy time for them, spring, prom, mother's day, etc. We weren't thrilled with the amount of upselling during the initial discussion. But We decided to go with them and put down a $200 deposit, so they could calculate how much it would cost and reserve the date, expecting a quote in a week or two. It was almost 5 weeks later after contacting them to ask what's going on, that they finally provided a verbal quote over the phone (instead of email) which was pretty exorbitant for Upstate NY

I had such an amazing experience with Don's Own... planning a bridal shower from the west coast can be challenging but these guys not only made it happen but made it happen last minute, quickly & beautifully for me. Vicky was a DREAM to work with... so responsive & so helpful doing above & beyond things every step of the way to help me. I placed an order on Don's Own website for the Nature's Smile flower arrangement to send to my grandma. I'm a cautious person, so right after placing the order online I called the store to check to see if they received it. Typically when I make those type of calls the employee on the other end gets annoyed that I'm calling right away to check up on my order. Not these guys! They were so nice on the phone and even offered to call me to give me a status update once the arrangement was underway. Once I received the confirmation email I figured I wouldn't receive that call

I got married at Zugibe vineyards in Geneva this past September and looking for a florist. Vicky was recommended to me and she (and her team) did not disappoint! As a very picky bride with a LOT of floral details, she took the time to discuss each and every detail every step of the way with me. I stand by my first review after receiving a fruit basket last week and the only fruit that were edible were the grapes.
The bananas, a week later went from green to rotten. The kiwi arrived spoiled, the pears are still hard and the apples have brown, soft spots all over them.
These fruit baskets are not cheap! Shop around people. Shame on you Don's.

I used Don's Own because I was getting married at the Belhurst in Geneva and wanted to work with someone local. I can't really speak to price because I didn't do any comparisons. What I can say is that Vicky was extremely helpful in the planning process. I made an appointment with her and she spent over an hour talking with my fiance and I about what we might want on our wedding day. She was knowledgable and flexible enough to quote out a small, medium and large size for almost everything.

Horrible!!!! Ordered flowers for my girlfriend on Valentines Day from Teleflora.com. The order was dispatched and fulfilled by Don's flower shop. I ordered the premium arrangement which is the biggest arrangement available on the sit. The flowers my girlfriend received were very small, wilted, poorly arranged. Teleflora called Don's in order for them to provide a replacement arrangement and they said she would have to give the original flowers back and they would "fix them." I was completely embarrassed by this, Don's accepted the order and brought her an arrangement that

I had the pleasure of working with Vicki, one of the owners of Don's Own for my wedding in August. I can't tell you how absolutely thrilled I was with their services. They covered absolutely every detail, and fulfilled everything I could possibly need on my wedding day. Vicki came early on the wedding day to deliver the flowers before the ceremony and the flowers themselves were absolutely STUNNING. When I first called, I wasn't really sure what I wanted, and she helped me pick out flowers that would look nice together based on our color scheme and overall feeling of the wedding
