Interest rates below apply to unsecured loans for the purposes of Debt Consolidation, Vacation, Single Payment Notes, Computer etc. Overdraft provides protection from checking overdrafts and related charges. Rates are effective 08/11/2020 and subject to change without notice. Loans for less than $7,500 have a maximum term of 48 months and loans greater than $7,500 have a maximum term of 60 months.
Maximum Loan Term of 24 months on balances between $500.00 and $5,000.00. APR = Annual Percentage Rate. Fees, amount financed and actual term may affect the actual APR and rate of your loan. SVCU loans are done using risk-based pricing to determine the interest rate and are based on the borrower's term and creditworthiness.
What are the differences between FHA, VA, Rural Housing, and Maine State Housing Authority options? FHA (Federal Housing Administration), VA (Veterans Affairs), Rural Housing and Maine State Housing Authority loans are all unique options to fit unique circumstances. These loans are offered or backed through various government organizations and have special stipulations for each.

The customer service at Saco Valley Credit Union is top notch. Everyone from Marsha, Matt to Shawn and all the tellers are all very helpful and available to help with all of your needs. I switched from a traditional bank to Saco Valley Credit Union about 9 years ago and never looked back. They make you feel like family. I highly recommend SCVU for all of your financial needs.

This greedy credit union charges ATM fees for credit union members. There is another credit union 2 or 3 miles away I’d use next time if I had cause.
Update: Per your request I called the bank and spoke with a Linda. I was told that just because you offer shared branching doesn’t mean you don’t charge ATM fees. So when a credit union member searches the network they are in, at the very least they are being mislead to believing that when they travel to your branch they will not be charge.
The practice is despicable and you should be ashamed of it.

Saco Valley is the best bank I've ever had! Unfortunately, we moved and it was too complicated to keep up with shared branching---but when we lived in Saco, they were always very friendly, and always willing to help me with whatever I needed help with. There were several times they helped me get my money back either from a internet scam (more than $400!!), and fees from other creditors, etc. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
