The Fat Bob is all Harley-Davidson, but at the same time, it's unlike any Harley motorcycle that ever existed before. Thunder Road Harley Davidson in Danville VA is a family store. They make you feel so comfortable there. I was greeted as soon as I was there and every question I asked they gave an answer. I wish more places were like this. Anyone reading this take the Harley Davidson experience, you will be pleased you did and if you can get to Danville Va , that experience will be a great one. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I was traveling through and the check engine light came on on my 2018 tri glide. I was passing through Danville VA on my way down to wilksboro nc and stopped at Thunder Road Harley at 2pm hoping that the service Dept would be open. The service dept diagnosed the problem and had me back on the road in less than 2 hrs. Much appreciated to the two gentleman that were working in service that day.

All I can say is wow everyone was cool and I felt like family as soon as I walked in, this is my first bike ever and I’m truly impressed with the staff everyone was patient I wasn’t pushed into anything everyone was supportive I will continue coming back in the future for my riding needs and Harley Davidson gear

These guys are great . Bike runs and sounds really good . No issues at all . They are very professional and treat you with respect . Even though they were really busy , David took time to help me pick the best parts for the upgrade to my street glide special . Always a good experience and bike performs and sounds much better . Took bike in to have a new tire which i supplied and have the clutch adjustment done as well as a safety inspection performed. Bike was worked on by the master mechanic they have. That being said the mechanic was nice enough to explain to me how to adjust my own clutch in the future and did a few other things for me that weren't on the repair list. And so after work was performed the tech road tested the bike and said it was good to go! So I paid the very expensive repair bill and took the bike down the road immediately noticed a squeak noise that wasn't there before I took in for service and wrote

I brought my 2011 Road Glide Ultra in as the ABS breaking system was failing. I talked with Dane prior and he gave me an estimate for service. When I brought my bike in Dave and I discussed my service needs and a few more things I wanted done on the bike. When I returned a few days later all of my service needs were complete. I was happily surprised to find all service complete and at a lower cost that I expected. I was able to make my Saturday morning regular ride to Smith Mountain Lake for lunch. When I called to get my bike in for service I had already called other dealers who had weeks long waiting lists. Dane got me right in, on Saturday no less! Got my bike in and out while my wife and I got breakfast nearby. Quality work and SPECTACULAR customer service! I will definitely be back and I recommend you go as well.
