Finest Kind Caterers can provide everything for your picnic, reception, party, reunion, or large gathering - right down to the China and Linen. Handling Charge $4.50 per person. This charge involves setting and clearing of all China from tables including folding napkins and Glassware & silverware set up.
Finest Kind Caterers presents a casual buffet meal with the traditional bake and alternate meal dishes of sirloin steak or BBQ chicken. We supply everything that you will need for the meal including: buffet table with linen, plastic trays, paper plates, eating utensils, napkins, lobster crackers, bibs, wet-naps, butter, broth and all of the condiments that you will need.

Virginia provided a lobster bake for our wedding rehearsal dinner in October and it was by far the best lobster dinner I've ever had, which coming from Maine says a lot! Many of our friends and family were from out of state and this couldn't have been a more perfect entry for them to see how we do things in Maine. The presentation was absolutely wonderful! I can't believe just 2 people were able to put this together for a group of 40, with such ease and perfection. The service was impeccable and we couldn't have been more grateful for all they did! Finest Kind caterers has catered weddings, anniversaries, company parties, and family gatherings for our family for over 15 years. The food is always superb, the staff very professional and pleasant, and they practice leave-no-trace catering where no scrap of trash is left behind. They do traditional lobster bakes but many other options as well. Did I mention that the food is superb? Very highly recommended!!

We have just attended (and also a year ago) a large lakeside party catered by Finest Kind Caterers. It was an amazing lobsterbake with lobsters, steamed clams, corn on the cob, chicken, salads, desserts and wonderfully professional staff. The staff dressed professionally and were helpful and efficient. You could tell they loved what they were doing and creating for food. They travelled from the coast of Maine all the way up to the Western Mountains of Maine to put on this event. Our friends said "We were so lucky to find this company". They have used them for multiple events for over 175 people

We had a super casual second wedding at a family member's house a week after our official wedding on the west coast. Finest Kind did a great job. The food was delicious, there was plenty of it, and the crew was professional and efficient, just what we wanted. Customer service beforehand was fantastic and Virginia was super flexible with our payment schedule. We are so happy we went with Finest Kind!
