We offer a wide variety of equipment for delivery and also offer customer pick-up options for tables, chairs, linens and other smaller items. Prices below do not include rental tax, credit card transaction fees, or delivery costs. You may also choose to download our price list for greater convenience.
There are a lot of things to consider when you're planning events. How much space do you have? How many guests do you wish to accommodate? What time of day is the event and how much time do you have access to the event location for setting up and breaking down everything you need? We've laid out some simple questions common for event planning along with some basic information to help you make the best decision possible.
We offer a wide selection of tent designs. From traditional pole tents, to high peak tension structures. Also available are frame tents, which have no center poles and can be installed on concrete or even inside a building. We have sizes as small as 6 feet wide up to 100 feet wide. If you have the area, we have the tent for your event.
The Wherehouse is Great American Tent's very own banquet hall available for parties and special events. It's located at our main building outside of Gardendale, Alabama and is right off I-65, making it easy to access for anyone from the Birmingham area. The Wherehouse has been host to stage productions, wedding receptions, charity dinners, church functions, and tons of birthday parties!

I rented tables and chairs for an event, and we had a great experience. Aside from the prices being really reasonable, the staff always goes above and beyond. They worked with me when I had to arrange for a late drop off, they gave me table covers free of charge, and also lent me their first aid kit when I showed up with a crying toddler (don't worry, just a splinter!). I will continue to work with Great American Tent Company, because they are the best in town! Also great to support a small family owned business.

I love Great American Tent Company! I have rented party supplies from them and they have great product, prices, and wonderful customer service. Their staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We also had a party in "The Wherehouse" rental space. It's a beautiful, versatile room that accommodated our dance party extremely well. It's clean, modern, and the staff do a great job of decorating for the party. My guests were very impressed with the facility, and didn't have any trouble finding the place since it's so visible right off highway 31. I was very happy to do business with a local

I HIGHLY recommend this place! When I graduated law school, my friends threw me a party here, and it was perfect. It had a nifty sound/video system, cool lighting, room to dance, room to eat, and a stylish look. They had the tables, chairs, and linens as well. My daughter liked it so much that she had her 11th birthday party here too. And the staff was incredibly nice, and the prices are very reasonable.

Hands down, the BEST VALUE for an AFFORDABLE, CONVENIENTLY LOCATED, SAFE, CLEAN, INDOOR venue with all the bells and whistles to bring your party to life!
We were blessed with our children’s arrivals in December. Although it’s a great early Christmas present, it isn’t very convenient to planning birthday parties. Impending the arrival of our son days later, I was struggling with finding an indoor location for my daughter’s 3rd Birthday Pirate party. Most indoor places are crowded with germy kids and charge too much for mediocre services. Yuck, that doesn’t sound like *party* to me. Thankfully

We at Outlaw Film Productions love the Great American Tent Company. We used a couple of their tents for our film 'Meridian' and couldn't have been happier.
They also have a large rental space available. It's big enough for wedding receptions or large family gatherings. We use their space called 'The Wherehouse' as the main screening venue for the North Jefferson Independent Film Series.
