TBK bank doesn't care about the individual person at all. I have had many problems with them. The most recent is the final straw.

I get paid monthly, I went to deposited my check and they are requiring a 10 day hold on funds. my employers checks are ALWAYS been good and always clear, so this isn't' a suspicious check. I asked them to call my employers bank and verify funds which they have in the past. They REFUSED! they claimed that some banks wont do that, but i know for a FACT my employers bank will. They claim its because i'm and over drafter, so wouldn't

I deposited large check from Family member from TBK Bank and a long HOLD was placed on check automatically. So my bank called TBK Bank to determine if check would clear the bank and even Branch called said policy is to NOT give out information on personal checks over the phone, in email, or by FAX; to even another Bank....so EVERYONE should close your account and go to another bank immediately that will work for the customer; NOT against them. My Family member is ill and does NOT need this stress trying to help out other Family member who had surgeries. I used to be Teller at bank and customer

Horrible bank. The staff is nice, but the corporate heads are awful. I hit a pothole in their parking lot and they refused to pay for the tire (120.00) after I had been a customer 5 years and the pothole had been there for 2 months. The branch manager, who felt the bank would reimburse me, sent the bill to corporate and the corporate heads said no way. Then after I closed the account, which I set up and went paperless (online only), they will not allow access to my statements, but want 5.00 per statement to mail them to me. They are horrible!

I ended up with TBK only because they bought out my favorite local bank in Durango, CO. I should have closed the acct right away, but thought I'd give them a try...Staying with them was the worst decision ever! I have had nothing but horrible experience after horrible experience. The customer service sucks! It's like pulling teeth with them to do any business over the phone! I live in another state and never had issues before the buy out. I advised them today that I will be closing all 6 accounts as soon as I have a chance to open others elsewhere and move my money to officially end

Tbk Bank is Like Wells Fargo. We going start a protest against them for my friend. They have bad business practice. Did you know tbk bank remove everyone's over draft protection back in December. On there own. They said they sent mails out to let people know. My friend never recieved it. So they can make money on over draft on people not knowing. Did you know they dont care about the disabled that banks with them. That gets a check once a month. There taking advantage of them as we speak. They dont care about the community. They care about there pockets. If you seen there reviews anywhere

None in which they have!
This is modern robbery at it's finest, and the fact that everyone of us is too small to effect them in anyway is Big Corporate Greed!

The absolute worst bank I've ever dealt with. I was shocked too see they sent 2 auto pays out instead of one. I discovered this on Veteran's Day - my account severely overdrawn. On a holiday. Next day, called and spoke with an 800 customer service rep, she was lovely. Long story short, manager unprofessional, rude, incompetent, errors too many to count.

A remarkably incompetent and inept bank with terrible customer service skills.

I'm power of attorney for my mother's finances. As such, I thoroughly review and consult prospective banks and credit unions regarding opening up accounts and CD's in her name. Some financial institutions won't open accounts with a POA. Knowing that, I spoke to several people at TBK about opening up an account and getting a CD, which was rather difficult because like others have said their phone responsiveness sucks. For the past year I have a CD account opened online with TBK Bank and I am unable to withdraw my funds now that the maturity date has come. There is no provision to withdraw or transfer online even though that is exactly how the account was created, and the telephone numbers go unanswered for days at a time. If you manage to finally get an answer the representative will put you on hold indefinitely and that will end your inquiry right there. I have sent letters, emails, left voicemails, etc. for weeks and have never received a single response. I have filed a complaint with the Texas Department

Horrible takeover of our local bank. Employees were seemingly not trained at all. No one knows anything anymore. There is no local phone number and no one ever answers the 800 number. It has gotten to the point where I do not believe anything anybody tells me there as the information is conflicting. I do not trust them with my money. Will be switching banks.

This bank is ridiculous. It's been 2 weeks since they bought out my local bank, no debit card, account was hacked, funds missing, and I can't get any costumer service. No response from the fraud department. 3 different times i was told a card would be expedited and would be overnighted. Still no card and not a soul can tell me if it was actually ordered.
