For 30 years clients have entered through my doors seeking psychotherapy and consultations. They come with issues of dysfunctional relationships, grief, anxiety, depression, insufficient motivation or confidence, difficult personalities, anger management, and many others. The one common denominator is a compelling awareness that their life is not as good as it could be.
I help them better understand their feelings, decisions (good and bad), and relationships, so they experience less distress and anxiety, and more joy, success and confidence. They leave with increased self-awareness about how to make better choices and take care of themselves, so their lives and relationships become healthier and more meaningful.

Psychotherapy should the frankest most in depth dialogue you ever have. It should open your eyes to entirely new aspects of yourself, your relationships and how to live life fully. It should be a very intense and impactful experience. Therapy is hard work.

Today, more and more people realize that psychotherapy holds benefits for them. Therapy has become part of our cultural mainstream and there are many types of therapy to fit clients different needs and personality styles. Yet, still, too many people hold to a belief they have to "go it alone, " and they wind up underachieving and suffering needlessly for long periods before seeking therapy.
Fees and Insurance: I am an out-of-network (or non-participating) provider, which means my clients pay me directly and then, if they choose to use insurance, file their own claim forms and get reimbursements directly from their insurance carrier. I will discuss fee details with you when we make contact.
