Dr. Hunziker is a board certified foot and ankle surgeon through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a native of Iowa. He has clinics in Waukee and Indianola and he provides foot care to the entire Des Moines area. He attended The University of Iowa in Iowa City where he received his undergraduate bachelor's degree.
He then attended medical school at Des Moines University in Des Moines where he obtained his doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Hunziker then completed a three-year surgical residency focusing on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, IA where he had extensive foot and ankle surgical training and was the chief resident during his final year.

Dr Hunziker was professional and knowledgeable. Gave me my options and we worked out the best steps for me to take to remedy the issues I had. Staff was polite and friendly. We came to see Dr Hunziker shortly after he opened. Our son had been struggling for over a year from his painful feet and we had tried several different treatments.
