Services
We work in an anesthesia care team approach. This means that, in addition to our anesthesiologists, we employ certified registered nurse anesthetists and anesthesiologist assistants, collectively referred to as anesthetists. Brevard Physician Associates Emergency Medicine Division strives to provide the highest quality medical care with expedience and empathy for the ills and concerns of our patients, and their families.
Modern anesthesia is a relatively safe and uneventful means of providing pain relief during and after surgery. There are three principal types of anesthesia: general, regional and local. General anesthesia causes you to lose consciousness via the administration of intravenous drugs and/or inhaled gases.
Brevard Physician Associates Emergency Medicine Division is a joint venture between what was formerly known as Brevard Emergency Services and Space Coast Emergency Physicians. Brevard Emergency Services has been providing Emergency Department Healthcare Services at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida since 1984.
Interventional Radiology (IR), as one of the biggest advances in medical practice, provides less invasive treatments than open surgery for multiple disease processes. Through a small incision, less than the size of a pencil eraser, highly trained, subspecialized, Interventional Radiologists deliver precise, targeted treatments to parts of the body previously only accessible with more invasive open surgical procedures.
The BPA radiology division is comprised of nearly 20 board certified radiologists and several support staff. The division supplies around the clock diagnostic services at all four health first hospitals and multiple outpatient centers. We also provide procedural services at these locations during routine hours.

Whomever this is called and left a voicemail on Sunday night. I called back with the reference number and was asked for personal information. I refused to give information of personal nature as I have no idea who or what this is regarding. The person stated it is medical billing for accounts in collections. I do not have an account with them, have NEVER been to a doctor there and have NEVER even heard of these people. What a scam. Try to scare people into providing sensitive personal information. Using a ruse of a medical bill that does not exist. Scam, scam scam

This team is amazing. I was in for an infusion port placement, and because my veins are wrecked, they had a hard time — three sticks — getting a line in. Totally not their fault, and they made me as comfortable as possible. I was able to banter with them, (they understood this was a result of my anxiety) and had a lovely time. They did a terrific job putting any fears to rest, and then they gave me the good stuff! I know without any doubt I was under the best, most competent care possible.

This was my first surgery ever and I was terrified of having anesthesia because my daughter passed away during an Endoscopy under Anesthesia, but the Doctor and the nurses calmed me down and I felt like I was in good hands! When I woke up I thanked God for guiding the doctors and nurses that took care of me! Thank you 🙏 for such compassion and kindness during a scary time for me!
