Doesn't look like much when you pass by but we were dying for a good all day breakfast place & all I can say is WOW, the definition of a hole-in-the-wall! The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing - everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Downtown Orlando. Highly recommend!

I went here with a friend of mine who lived close to the restaurant. It's tucked away in the historic district of Parramore. Centered in downtown Orlando. This lil storefront diner was cute for the area. That day I had a breakfast meal. It consisted of eggs, bacon, and grits. Also with a few pieces of toast. The diner is southern with a laid back flair. It's great place for a nice lil meet n greet,business venture, or just a day at a nice local restaurant.

I recommend this place! If you love supporting Black owned Business, a Wonderful family atmosphere, and let's not forget Great tasting food, the. You will LOVE THIS PLACE!! My family enjoyed everything we ate, highly recommend the candied Beef bacon, grits, chicken sausage, fish... lavender latte oh just order anything on the menu! The warm home vibe is amazing! My family will become regulars!!

Foodies is just enough off the beaten path from downtown that I was a sweaty mess when I got there... but it was so worth it.
Firstly, the space is beautiful. Really feels designed for a low light, sparkled Instagram model. It's very comfortable and cozy while still having this fast paced open design kitchen, and watching the cooks prepare everything was an integral part of the experience.
The food was extraordinary, and all Halal as well! We got the fantastic server's recommendations, the Chicken and Waffles, and Fish and Grits. Both dishes were so right and packed full of flavor

Wow! What a wonderful place to eat breakfast in Orlando. My partner and I were spending our last day in FL exploring downtown Orlando and came here after finding disappointing breakfast options in the main downtown hub (there were options, but all were pricier trendy spots rather than humble breakfast joints. We ended up walking a bit off the beaten path to find Foodie, but I am so glad we did. It is definitely in a developing part of town - lots of new business fronts seem to be popping up in the area and (quite wonderfully) it seems many are run by members of the actual community rather than

Small, cozy restaurant. I wanted to go somewhere new for breakfast after a stop at my bank's downtown branch, so I consulted Yelp. Yelp comes through again. Soothing jazz plays in the background. A nice selection of baked goods is available to complement the meal, take home or"have cake for breakfast."
I was the first person in on a Tuesday morning, so I was treated like royalty. I decided to have waffles and chicken sausage. Delicious!! I want to come back to try my weakness, chicken & waffles.

Small cafe with a limited menu and excellent food. The staff was friendly and helpful. Don't skip the special house coffee (tall something?). They let me order eggs and waffles although it wasn't on the menu. The eggs were well done and the waffle was excellent with the house made syrup. The avocado toast was a generous portion and the grand total bill was more than reasonable.

The rave reviews forced me to stop into Foodies Cafe. Nearly every review gave it 5 stars so I'd been excited to try it but never really had that opportunity since Parramore is out of the way. Last week I was near Creative Village and figured now was as good a time as any to see what the fuss with Foodies was about.
I ate at Foodies twice, just to make sure I had enough of a sample size to accurately judge it. On day one, I ordered the breakfast sandwich. It was absolutely mouth-watering. The candied bacon was a nice touch (although it was a tad bit spicy) and complemented the cheese well

Searched "Foodie" in Orlando and this gem popped up! Loved the vibe of this place it wasn't too crowded and the owners were super friendly and attentive. Grab a book and read while you wait for your food. The breakfast sandwich was amazing with the candied bacon being the highlight. Their Philly cheesesteak is also delicious. They even serve coffee ice cubes in coffee, so cool!

O.M.G. This place is outstanding. Get yourself here ASAP. We had the Fish N Grits and I about lost my cool it was so dang tasty. Those grits were fire. That fish was perfectly breaded, not heavy or oily. Left feeling full, not gross. Sriracha mayo was a sweet addition.
Only cons at this point is their hours. I'd love to come after 2pm but as of right now they're closed after 2 and closed Sundays and Monday's. But don't let that stop you from making your way here to try their amazing food.
