Took my boat to him for a full tune up , change or repair starter as it kicking out also wanted fuel gauge fixed 4 warn wires on motor replaced and bilge pump replaced he had it for 6 weeks out of all those things i wanted done All he did was clean the carbs and Change The 4 wires on the Motor and tryed to charge me over $2,000 dollars for what i can see about 3 hours of work couldn't provide proof where rest of the time i was charged for to total 2000 dollars

I was told $800 to fo the job. He excepted $540 to fix control/throttle cable and get tow lights hooked up.. calls me a few days later and says the shifter is bad and it's gonna be another $800 to fix/replace shifter. I said no way... after realizing I was trapped in this deal, paying another $600 to replace/fix throttle and controls.
