Pros: Close to town. Friendly staff. Good laundry facilities. Nice view of the river. Wildlife in camp. Hookups are in a good location. Not over the top with rules.
Cons: Very dusty, most of the campground is sand or dirt. Spaces are close to one another. No water access at all. We made a request to be next to another camp site our friends were at and they put us 3 spaces away (reservations made a year prior).

The woman in the office is very rude. We stayed one night and asked for a second night. We were told to move our RV from the park up their very steep hill and park along side the busy road and wait to hear from her (checkout was at 11 and this was 9) . We decided to just head south. She called us to let us know we can have a second night if we wanted, I told her we decided to leave and head south. She got all upset with me and told me I didn't inform her that I was leaving and hung up on me, she had already charged us, which we did not authorize (there was no second charge that ended up on our

The day we arrived we saw 15 elk across the river and then saw a mom and calf inside the park behind our rv. she stayed around that day and another day before she drifted down river. also had a peregrine falcon in the trees just above the river flying up and down fishing in the river also for two days. used the laundry which was most $$ reasonable… and extremely clean. garbage "bear" enclosures were very easy to access and mitigated any visits by bears. Park is less than a mile from Yellowstone gate and convenient to eateries and the town of Gardinier, Montana.....great park.

We spent 5 nights at the park in our Motorhome. The manager and his wife were extremely helpful. Restrooms and laundry room were especially clean and welcoming. It’s a great central location if you are heading to Yellowstone or the Tetons. We would stay again if we were in the area. Highly recommended!

Great views and a location very close to Yellowstone, but the wind here is crazy! We couldn’t leave the awning open the entire time we were there and the wind kicked up so much dust from the gravel roads that being outside wasn’t fun. If you plan on being out and about or in Yellowstone NP most of the time I’d say this is a good park, just don’t expect to hang out outside at the campsite for very long! If the wind and dust wasn’t an issue I’d give it 4 stars.
