Alpaqua Engineering, LLC, founded in 2006, is a global provider of tools for accelerating genomic applications such as NGS, nucleic acid extraction and clean up, target capture, and molecular diagnostics. Also available are aluminum tube blocks to help maintain temperature control, SBS /ANSI standard tube racks and the patented Alpillo Plate Cushion **that enables pipetting to the bottom of the plate without well occlusion**. Patented Spring Cushion Technology enables maximum sample retrieval without tip occlusion.
Services
Employs strong ring magnets with unique slotted architecture for quality manual magnetic bead separation. Compatible with most 96-well microplates and PCR strip tubes. Slotted magnet architecture sequesters beads in two opposing arches allowing tip tracking down well walls during manual pipetting. Keep pipetting the way you are used to.
Used with 96-well PCR plates when low elution volumes are needed to ensure high product concentration. This plate allows you to elute in as little as 8-10 l. We are using this plate on our liquid handler for NGS purposes and works very well in our hands. We were able to lower volumes and thus reduce costs without loss of quality and repetitiveness.
Our Strongest 96-well magnet plate containing proprietary solid-core ring magnets yields the fastest magnetic bead separation with reaction volumes as large as 2 mL and elution in as little as 10 l. The concentric NdFeB ring magnet design of the MagPlate 24 provides for rapid and efficient bead separation from larger sample volumes. Unique ring magnet architecture enables rapid and efficient bead separation in sample volumes as large as 10 mL.
