Seagrass Salon & Day Spa

I went into Seagrass in March 2021 to get my hair lightly trimmed and highlighted. I also wanted my makeup done and something done with my eyelashes. I specifically told Christin that I wanted my hair very light. I told her that I usually ask that it not be so light, but then it isn't light enough. I need it that light color that when you first see it, it kinda shocks you, like I've had it in the past. She told me she understood.
As she is doing my hair, I noticed that she was taking product from two different bowls and that one was darker then the other. I asked her what it was for, she said

I had an extremely disappointing experience here. I came in for highlights and left with what they called “baby lights”meaning they added super tiny highlights and most my root still showing really not the look most blondes go for. On top of that my stylist doubled the price I was quoted on the phone. Honestly wish I would of just avoided this place.

Shout out to Seagrass for putting this uncertain customer immediately at ease while navigating a hair salon in the age of COVID for the first time since February. This cannot be an easy task for ANY business since we are all in uncharted waters, but the staff at Seagrass made me feel comfortable from the minute I crossed the threshold. They’ve worked hard to insure a safe environment from the reception area all the way through the salon itself. Before coming to Brandi, I had struggled finding the right products for my skin for almost a year. No matter how popular and expensive the product, my skin was always red and inflamed. I thought this might just be my new normal. Besides wanting to even out my skin tone, decrease oil production, and calm the inflammation and redness, I also wanted to wear less makeup. I came into Seagrass for the first time today and had the pleasure of Mark working miracles on my hair. He took his time and explained everything I needed to know about my color and how to benefit from using professional products. He did such a beautiful job on my hair. I am extremely happy with the color and the cut. The staff was also extremely friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!! Thank you Mark!!!!!

My hair looks so good. The first time I went I went and got a color correction and highlights and it looked amazing. I just went back yesterday to get my roots done and some more highlights and I couldn’t be happier with the way it looks. The blonde looks so natural and exactly the way I wanted it to look.

Love this staff!! The best place in Wilmington, NC to go to for all of your Salon & Day Spa needs. They also carry an array of products which I have fallen in love with. Definitely the hottest place in town to go to right now for great beauty services!

Went in to have our hair done for a wedding, and it was nothing like the pictures which were shared. My mother was also upset after hers looked nothing like the photos. It's upsetting to pay so much for a special day, only to have to turn around and redo it yourself.
On the plus side however, the makeup of three of the girls was beautifully done.

If you have curly hair you NEED to see Megan. I drive 3.5 hours just to have her do my hair. Absolutely love it every time I leave. Cut and color is so good and really great price! I can let a YEAR go by without having to go back in and get more highlights. Megan makes it look so natural and really listens to what you want. Also super down to earth. No one else I’d rather see! ❤️

I want to Express my appreciation to Hannah Lewis for all of the kindness she showed me yesterday. She spent 2 hrs on my hair and would not take any pay. I have lost two homes since July 25th.
