For those families choosing cremation, it is important to share with you the difference between a funeral home and a direct disposer. Under Florida law, a company or person can operate as a direct disposer establishment. This means you may not be meeting with a licensed funeral director in regard to the final arrangements for your loved one.
Below are our charges for burial services. Note these prices do not include items such as cash advances, hairdresser, casket, vault, cemetery charges, memorial packages or grave marker. Use of Facility for Visitation and Services of Funeral Director and Staff in Supervision of Visitation. Services of Funeral Director and Staff in supervising and Directing in a Facility other than Funeral Home or Chapel of Funeral Home.
Many families today are choosing cremation as the form of disposition. Cremation does not mean a viewing or ceremony cannot be included. Note these charges do not include items such as cash advances, paid newspaper notice, cremation casket, rental casket, hairdresser, memorial package, medical examiner cremation permit or certified copies of death certificates.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.

I had to arrange a service remotely involving the ME office and sheriff for a relative who I had no contact with for 20 years. I was able to make most initial arrangements online which was very convenient. I was contacted immediately and made aware of the next steps. Allison handled everything and made all the arrangements. I could not be more pleased with the professional and compassionate treatment I received at Sunset Point Cremation. Their service was impeccable! Several years ago I suffered a terrible experience with another cremation company where the person was cold and totally sales driven, making my mother's even more upsetting and stressful. Sunset Point Cremation was a breath of fresh air and made a sad time much easier to bear. Allison and Gail were most kind and helpful, and I felt that what they offered for the price was very reasonable.

I have to say that during one of the worst times in my life was made so much easier by Sunset. I lost my precious son and didn’t even know where to begin. The hospital gave me a list of places and I chose Sunset Point Cremation. I live in California and my son lived in Florida. The moment I placed the call to Sunset they directed me through each step.
