We believe that the benefits of dance should be available to everyone. Whether you are just starting out or have been dancing for years, we would love to have you join us. We offer creative movement, ballet, and tap classes for children at all experience levels. Youth classes include ballet and tap for beginning or experienced students and a pre-jazz class.
We offer ballet, tap, and jazz classes (as well as modern and contemporary for students 12+). Teen & adult classes offered are ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, and hip hop. There really couldn't be a better place for a kid to learn how to dance, because here, it isn't just about the dance.

Services
We offer a 1-hour combination Ballet & Tap class geared toward five-year-old kindergarten students with or without previous dance experience. For students who have already taken classes, we offer Pre-Ballet & Tap II (Ages 6-7) and Division IA (Ages 7-9) classes. These are both a 1-hour combination Ballet & Tap class.
Youth classes begin with level Division IB and continue through Division III. The class levels are designed upon the students' progress in technique and their knowledge of certain required dance material. We offer a Beginning 8-12 class split into two sections of ballet and tap. This class will introduce technique and fundamentals for those wishing to start exploring dance.
Absolutely no bullying. All students are expected to be respective, kind, and supportive to both their fellow students and their teachers. In case of bad weather, all class cancellations will be announced on Sunny 97.7 & KFIZ, posted on our Facebook page, and mentioned on the studio answering machine.
Mary Wempner, a member of Chicago National Association of Dance Masters (CNADM), opened Wempners' School of Dance in a small grocery store, which was converted into a one-room dance studio. At the time, the studio had 35 students. As the studio grew, Mary's daughter, Ann, started teaching lessons as well.
Wempners' School of Dance has provided Fond du Lac and surrounding communities with a service that not all smaller cities are as fortunate to have: that is the 'Art of Dance.' With an open door, open heart environment, the school's main goal has been and will always be to offer the best training it can provide to as many students as possible.
