This is a wonderful campground with sites with lots of privacy. We stayed for a month and were very happy with our stay. The amenities are all well done, limited in scope. The result is a quiet atmosphere. Troy and his wife (the owners) are very friendly and helpful. Our AT&T reception was fine for streaming, internet access and calls. We did not use the laundry facilities and showers but they were clean and welcoming. And it is pet friendly. Located near Stonington, it is near the harbor, restaurants, a sand beach and the ferry to Isle au Haut. Opportunities for Kayaking, SUP’s and hiking abound

Greenlaws is a very nice private campground. Conveniently located 2 miles from Stonington. We met Troy when we arrived, he was on his backhoe! Very pleasant man who let us switch to a more desirable camp site. Unlike a lot of private campgrounds greenlaws has some private sites which is what we desire. But like any campground, your results may vary based on availability. The bathouse is nice and clean and contains toilets, showers and laundry facilities. I would only suggest adding a bench or a couple of chairs to the bathouse to help with getting shoes on and off. Ample dry wood is available to

Monica and Troy's renovated cabin exceeded our expectations in every way! The cabin was marketed for 2 guests; however, Monica and Troy were unbelievably kind to accommodate our family of four. Our two children slept on bunk bed cots that they absolutely loved. The cots were perfect for my children as they loved the fact they could make the bottom cot a fort for reading. Both of the beds that my husband and I slept on were perfect to get a good night sleep after a long day of hiking or kayaking on Deer Isle. Monica and Troy, really have thought of everything a family or couple may need throughout

We are 10 days into a 12 day stay and I’m very sad to be leaving so soon. Wonderful campground - small and very quiet. It’s not overrun by kids or the party set. No pink flamingos or twinkle lights to be found, just a clean quiet spot close to Stonington, with a well-stocked grocery 3 minutes away. The owner Tony stopped by one night just to see how we were doing, which was very nice and a first for me in the camping world. The virtual checkin and reservation processes are also unique, which I personally quite liked. Even though virtual, when I had to make a couple changes to our reservations

We just spent a week at Greenlaw's Campground. It was perfect! Very quiet! When we got ready to hook up to septic we discovered that our extension hose had been broken. When I texted the owner to see where I could get the end to fix it, he delivered one to use so we wouldn't have to drive an hour. What service. LOVED it there!

A beautiful, remote campground. The sites are private and serene. The owner is extremely kind and incredibly accommodating. He helped us get settled in when we arrived and made sure we had a great lobster pot to cook our live lobster in. He was very responsive and ensured we always had everything we needed. He’s also making lots of improvements to the full hookup sites. Definitely recommend!

We needed a place to camp last-minute on our way out to Acadia and this place was so accommodating! Bathrooms are pristine, campsite was great, very few bugs, and the communication with the staff was flawless. Would highly recommend if you are looking to camp prior to heading to Acadia or catching the Isle au Haut ferry. Thank you!

Troy was an incredibly kind and accommodating host. He communicated very well from start to finish. Troy wanted to make sure we had what we needed to cook our live lobster, so he provided us with a lobster pot! They are available upon request! The bath house was clean. The campsites were spacious and well-kept. It’s a quiet, comfortable, homey-feeling campground!
