Engineering Consultants, Inc. was founded in 1964 by Lee Bransford, an engineer who had outgrown the structural needs of a local prominent architectural firm. Carl Brunck joined Bransford as partner in 1969, with Jim Brown becoming the third partner in 1974. These three led the company until 1991 when both Bransford and Brunck retired.
