Virgil Logan, a United States Veteran returned from service and started this company over 60 years ago with a vision of building a company that offered a quality finish product and affordable pricing.
The company started as a painting & drywall company in Jefferson County, Mo. In 1980 Timothy Logan Sr took control of the business. In 1987 the company opened a Home Building & Remodeling division. From the very beginning to present day we are still abiding by our original business plan of quality workmanship at fair prices.

Thanks to Midstate for resuming my kitchen.. We contacted Midstate to get a bid due to another contractor bailing on us..(wish I had found Tim first). They came to house within 2 days and completed bid within another 2 days. We had contacted2 others contractors, one never showed up and the other one seemed sympathetic but never sent bid... Our… kitchen was probably 85% done but Tim sent his crew out within a couple of weeks after me ordering cabinet and supplies online.. who knew I could do that... They were professional showed up on time and communicated with us on work detail and asked

Our basement looks great guys! We are super pleased with the results. The project took less than 2 months and was everything we were looking for. We valued the suggestions and options Tim Jr. brought to the… project as we only had a loose idea of what we wanted when we began. Communication was strong. Through the whole process from bid to contract to each step of finishing, we were never left wondering what was going on. Bonus points for dealing with a 9 month pregnant lady too - Thanks guys!

Midstate Contracting has been great to work with!! Tim and his team are very understanding, with great follow up and attention to detail. They kept the subcontractors on schedule, guided us but let us make the decisions on decor, etc. The team is very professional and did a great job building our home.
