Dr. Jeb S. James has been delivering the highest quality dental care to the Bay City community since 1975. He earned his dental degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston, and is a Masterof the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a Past President of the Woehler Research Group's Dental Study Club, and an active member of the American Dental Association.

I went to this practice because I was experiencing graet pain from a tooth fragment that was left in my gum by Dr. Stuart 10 years previous. It had happened before, I knew what it was and could feel it with my tongue. The tech took full xrays. Dr. James examined me. He told me it was not a fragment, he said I had TMJ, he wanted to fit me with a series of jumped up mouth guards, then put me in braces to the tune of about $6000.00.
Left his office, went to another dentist same day. Dentist looked in my mouth (no xray) and says "Yup, tooth fragment. I can see it protruding from the gum." This dentist

Absolutely atrocious service from the front office. My mother is a previous patient at the office and needed an extraction. The office was very unprofessional when I asked the rationale for a sedation. “There are plenty of other offices in Bay City”, “we don’t have time to wait for you all day” we’re just some of the phrases used.
My wife is a dentist a couple of hours away, and when I told her how they were treating my mother, she was absolutely appalled at the service. Nobody should ever succumb to an incompetent office staff with a lack of empathy for their patient pool.

It doesn’t matter how talented a dentist is or his assistants when the front desk staff treats clients like garbage, you will lose business. I won’t put names on my review out of respect for the person but I had a terrible experience with the front desk staff.
When I questioned the treatment plan and asked for time to review, they responded by… telling me “they didn’t have all day for me to make up my mind and that I could take my business to any other dentist in town.”
