Microdermabrasion treatments are a non-surgical way of exfoliating and rejuvenating the skin on your face. Microdermabrasion treatments are a less aggressive approach than lasers, chemicals or dermabrasion, and can be used to minimize sun damage, discoloration, fine lines and light scaring.
Microdermabrasion works by using an instrument that gently sands the skin with an even flow of micro particles that slough off the top layer while stimulating new skin growth.Microdermabrasion treatments also help make your skin look younger by thickening the collagen in your skin, resulting in a more youthful and refreshed complexion.

This treatment includes, cleansing, skin analysis, microdermabrasion, soothing serum, oxygen infusion, hydrating mask, moisturizer and SPF 30 Sunblock - 60 Minutes. 2-4 weeks prior to treatment, discontinue using all alpha hydroxy acid products (those containing glycolic or lactic acid), salicylic acid products, retinoids (Retin A, Renova, Differin and Tazorac), and other topical acne medications such as benzoyl peroxide.

Ladies if you are sensitive to waxing I advise you to avoid it a few days before, or the first day of your menstrual cycle as your pain threshold is reduced. If you have been shaving I recommend that you allow 2-3 weeks growth before a wax to allow your hair follicles to reproduce. If you are going on vacation I recommend you to have your treatment 2 or 3 days before you leave to ensure your skin has calmed down.
