Losing somebody you love is one of the hardest moments of your life. Add sudden logistical and financial decisions and the pain only intensifies. Advance funeral planning is the key to creating the positive end-of-life experience your loved ones deserve. The choices you make today will protect them from unnecessary financial and emotional strain, giving them a clear plan so that they can begin healing when they'll need it most.
Kevin Brown began his career in funeral service in 1991, when he started working at Chapel By The Sea in Fort Bragg, California. After two years of working in the industry, he knew it was more than a job it was a calling. He graduated from San Francisco College of Mortuary Science as a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, working in California and Nevada until he relocated to Colorado.
Funerals fill an important role for those mourning the loss of a loved one. By providing surviving family and friends with an atmosphere of care and support in which to share thoughts and feelings about death, funerals are the first step in the healing process. It is the traditional way to recognize the finality of death.
Webhealing.com, the first interactive grief website on the internet, offers discussion boards, articles, book suggestions, and advice for men and women working through every aspect of grief. The site's founder, Tom Golden LCSW, has provided book excerpts and contact information to help those healing from loss.

Brown was wonderful to work with. They were a calm force during a difficult time. They were engaged in my needs and spent the time required to ensure that I felt heard. Their communication was excellent and I never felt lost in the process after losing my father. I highly recommend them during your difficult times as well.

My mother recently passed away in December of 2021. Brown's Cremation & Funeral had been on my radar due to advertisements etc. I had heard from a third party that they came highly recommended. Little did I know that things I had heard were not only true but beyond my expectations.
The empathy, respectfulness, and sincere caring for my mother, myself and my family were over and above anything that I had ever experienced.
I can't thank them enough for all that they did in this time of sorrow for my family and I.
I will recommend them anytime I can! I want to give a special shout out to JT. Such

Everyone at Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Service were helpful and compassionate as we planned our mom’s final arrangements. It’s difficult to make decisions that you don’t want to have to make because those decisions confirm that your loved one is gone, but Katharina and the staff are patient and help with every step.

At the worst time in my life I lost my husband. It was 3am. He was at the hospital and they said I could wait until morning but I just couldn't leave him there. I called Browns funeral home and they went immediately to retrieve him. This gave me such peace knowing that Ronnie was in good hands. I don't live close to Grand Junction so I needed to travel to take care of the arrangements. I can only say I was having huge anxiety issues over the loss. Doug and his staff worked with me to make the trip to say goodbye to Ronnie. Upon arriving, Doug walked out to my car to help me in. Absolutely, the

I just want to say Thomas and Elizabeth at Brown's Cremation and Funeral Service were the most professional and caring persons during my loss of my wife. They had everything I needed and no pressure at all during the process of setting up my wishes.
They also reached out and asked how my family and I were doing after. Extraordinary!!
I Highly recommend them and want to thank them for everything they did for me.

I highly recommend Browns Cremation and Andrea to handle your loved ones final arrangements. This year my family has experienced a great loss of family members and Andrea handled three of our loved ones services, burial and cremation. We later had another family member pass in Denver and used another funeral home out there, quickly learning that the comfort of care Browns Cremation gives is above and beyond for your loved one and your family and friends during this time. Andrea made the process as simple as she could, and she genuinely feels for your loss. You cannot get better service elsewhere

I want to thank Browns Cremation and Funeral Services for taking care of Warren, my Husband in the time of his taking his next journey.
Browns was very understanding and compassionate in my loss.
Warren was A veteran and Browns did a wonderful job of me.
Warren ashes was laid to rest in the veteran ceremony. And they honored him telling us no one left behind. It made it so much easier to know he is at peace and on his next journey with out pain and is with his loved one who left this earth before him. And Warren is happy now.
Thank you Browns for the love you show me and my family.
