Services
At Eye Clinic of Sandpoint, each member of our vision care team is selected by Dr. Brayden Petersen based upon his or her experience, professional demeanor, and dedication to providing personalized care to our optometry patients. Our entire Sandpoint optometry staff is committed to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of each and every patient.
We offer both adult and pediatric eye exams. We have a wheelchair accessible room for our patients. A complete exam consists of a general health history, history of eye health, a vision check, a refraction (glasses prescription check), check of eye function, and dilation. The doctor examines the anatomy of the eye, structures and function of the anterior and posterior part of the eye.
At Eye Clinic of Sandpoint, we strive to meet all of your eye and vision care needs. Corrective lens evaluations and prescription management are provided by our optometrist in Sandpoint. After a comprehensive eye and vision evaluation, Dr. Petersen will discuss the variety of contact lens options with you to select the type that best fits your vision needs and lifestyle.
Squinting at computer, tablet, or mobile screens for hours at a time is a normal part of our lives in the 21st century. Unfortunately, eye problems associated with this activity are also on the rise. Even if you have never had eye problems before, you may have noticed computer vision syndrome symptoms after two or more hours of screen time.
At Eye Clinic of Sandpoint, we strive to provide comprehensive, primary eye care for the whole family. Preventative and routine eye exams are important to maintaining good eye health. Often, eye and vision problems do not have obvious symptoms or signs, but are easily diagnosed by a licensed optometrist.

My wife and I were vacationing in the Sandpoint area when I sat on my glasses and broke the wire holding my lens in. I called the clinic and their very helpful staff said that I could come in and they'd take a look. so I went in and within 10 minutes I was out the door with my glasses repaired at no charge!! Back to a fun vacation! Thank you!
