We never felt pressured to buy something we didn't want and each choice we made was supported by Nick. The entire process was quick and efficient at a time that was most difficult. Highly recommend Simple Choices!

On behalf of the Olivo family, we would like to thank Simple Choices for the respectful, honest, and caring service they recently provided on our behalf after our mother died.
Upon our inquiry, they provided a clear explanation of the process and of the costs involved. The prices were significantly less than the lowest price we had been quoted by a funeral home for the same services. This was important because our father had incurred months of medical expenses for our mother's care.
After she died and it came time to initiate the process, they arrived quickly and were empathetic and efficient

With the sudden passing of my mother it was without a doubt the hardest thing to go through. Nicholas at Simple Choice Cremations made the arrangement process so easy and took all the worries away . I seriously could not have asked for someone better to help me through this process . He was understanding , flexible and just seriously the sweetest and most helpful . I was referred to Simple Choices Cremation Service through they hospice social worker. In the days prior to actual need, many other hospice employees also mentioned working with Simple Choices is easy, effortless, professional. When the time came, Roy was at my home within half hour of the call. He was compassionate, caring, professional, and respectful not only of our needs but also the dignity my loved one deserved to be treated with. Roy was very well organized with needed paperwork, expected time frames for death certificate and picking up the ashes. He went above and beyond to answer my questions

Simple Choices made this so easy from 1300 miles away. From the first phone call, I had no concerns with the arrangements or the process. All of the information was shared from the start. I had no lingering questions. Nick made this so easy. I can't thank Simple Choices enough for taking the heavy lifting/burden off my shoulders and handling the arrangements for my brother with dignity and ease.

In a time of need it was so appreciated to have someone like Nicholas to provide his expert guidance and services. He is so perfect in his profession and a truly nice and compassionate guy- his assistant Sue was also a ray of sunshine in such a dark time. From the moment I called Simple choices to inquire about a cremation I knew I felt comfortable with their service . Roy talked with me for a while on the phone and also when I went in to finalize my plans for my mom . Roy spent again more time with me that I felt like we became friends . I truly can not say enough in words to express how professional and helpful Roy and Nick are. They do have the best price . But it’s not always about the price when it comes to a loved one. It’s the service . Thank you Roy and Nick ! You truly touched our hearts .

My mother recently passed away and I was put in contact with Simple Choice to basically handle everything given I lived pretty far away. Cannot say enough good things about them and the person who assisted me, Roy. Professional, compassionate, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

They were very caring people, they work with us and the process was very professional, we got to say goodbye to our mamá and the amount of care they offer is incredible. I could never forget how great was the service of Nick and how efficient he treat me and my family. This is a 5 star place to say goodbye to your loved one no doubt.

Simple Choices Cremation Service and Roy and his staff (Nick) treated my family and me with kindness. I highly recommend Simple Choices. The whole pre-planning process was easy (simple!) and well worth the 30 or so minutes it took to get everything done in advance of my father's passing. When he died, they took him into their care and I never had to do a thing. After the cremation, we met at their funeral home in Troy and my mom selected a beautiful urn from among the many they had to choose from and that brought her peace. Simple Choices provides excellent service at a very fair price.

Nicholas was a great service provider for my mother's arrangements. She changed her mind over the years as she grew older for the arrangements she wished and Nicholas and Roy performed the requests flawlessly. I was very impressed at the ease of the whole process as I was walked through it. This was my first time taking on this sort of task in my life and Nick was just a great professional and handled everything. He is meticulously organized and provided me with all of the documentation I would need in a well organized package. I would certainly recommend this team for their compassion and excellence

We had an unexpected passing and were from out of town making arrangements. All we knew is we wanted to use a local establishment (our family is from Troy). Roy made a difficult situation bearable and was able to walk me through the steps as simply as he could for someone in mourning. I highly recommend his services to any family in need.

Within 5 minutes of calling, Roy was answering all my questions and concerns in a reassuring and knowledgeable way. He guided me with advice on options, calmly listening as I expressed my brother's final… wishes to be cremated. An appointment was scheduled with Nick, who managed all the detailed paperwork with clarity and grace. At a time when my family and I were experiencing grief and confusion, Simple Choices, - Nick and Roy, provided excellent service, freeing me to be with my family. The office and home are beautifully decorated providing a sense of soothing peace.

Simple Choices provided a cremation and wake at Hans Funeral Home and arranged obituaries in the papers for our mom. Roy provided good advice. Everything went perfectly. Completely dependable and professional and much less expensive than other services.

I would like to thank Simple Choices for their services and compassion in our time of heartache . I couldn't ask for better attention in which Roy Bordeau provided my family. Whether it was meeting in my home or texting me at 9pm on a Sunday night, he was always there to provide us with his wonderful service .
