Empower Physical Therapy of Newton & Hesston is excited to announce we have changed our name to Empower Physical Therapy. In 2008, Jerry Pomeroy bought his clinics from a group in Wichita. Jerry chose not to sell his clinics when given the opportunity to a large corporation, so we have chosen a new name to distinguish our care, services and clinics.
At Empower Physical Therapy, our focus is on delivering exceptional results and services, learning new techniques, advancing our capabilities, and of course, having an exceptional team environment! Our expanding practice provides ample opportunities for further education and career advancement. Before I came to Empower Therapy I was having a lot of pain in my lower back. It was hard to get out of a chair. I appreciated the designated exercises prepared for me to do which have helped a lot. My back definitely feels better and I know what to do when pain starts up again. I really appreciate the encouragement from the therapists.

Have been here for physical therapy for knee issues, fractured wrist, back issues and now after hip replacement. I'm 3 weeks out and walking normal already! Thank you Morgan for all the help teaching me exercises and stretches to make me stronger! Love all the staff here! Very friendly, fun and comfortable atmosphere! Wouldn't go anywhere else for physical therapy! Top notch in my books!

I had no mobility to speak of and my pain level was very high. They set a plan for me and we followed it. I did my exercises at hope and learned new exercises twice a week.
I am not a teenager any more, but I am much better with less pain, more flexibility, better core strength, and better balance.
I will continue my exercises so my recreational activities can still be fun.

Everyone at Empower is very knowledgeable in their work and extremely patient! They take the time to listen to what you have to say and truly want to help because they care. I have had many other experiences w other therapy places and I won't go anywhere else because Empower has the latest and most effective techniques and technology and the best therapist and patience. I had much different experiences at other places. I very highly suggest any and all the therapist at Empower Physical therapy! Not to mention they are a lot of fun to be around too!

The first time I went to Empower physical therapy was 7 years ago for issues with my hips. I have hyper flexible joints so I have been in and out of physical therapy for the last 10 years for various muscle and joint issues. I love Empower physical therapy.
They don't just manipulate you around and then send you home. The therapists are polite professional, and oftentimes fun. And are more than happy to explain what's going on, and what you can do at home to help make sure that it doesn't become a problem again. I have had the opportunity to receive physical therapy numerous times from Empower Physical Therapy (formally Advanced Physical Therapy) over the last several years. I have balance issues due from Parkinson’s and sciatica at different times due to a former back surgery. All of the therapists that I have had the pleasure of working with have done a great job helping with my issues and have been extremely helpful and supportive. The front office girls are always pleasant and make you feel like family..I would highly recommend Jerry and his crew to anyone needing physical therapy for whatever reason

The staff is knowledgeable, kind and caring. When I was being treated, I wasn’t sure physical therapy would work for me. After six weeks,I found to my great pleasure it helped a great deal. I wish I had done it sooner!
The physical therapist and the therapist assistant are wonderful. They spent quite a bit of time showing me how to do the different stretches and workouts that would strengthen my muscles to hold my body correctly. For every New procedure, they have printouts with detailed instructions and pictures and diagrams to make sure I remembered how to do it correctly after I get home

My experience was awesome from beginning to end! When I started therapy I was using a walker, and when I was finished I was walking on my own with confidence and little if any pain. My therapist was Kaycee. She was beyond awesome! I felt comfortable in her care and the excercises that she gave me were spot on. I didn’t feel like a patient, more like a friend. We shared great conversation, and that really made our time go way to fast! We really got to know each other, and I believe she understood my individual needs I wish that I could give her more than five stars because she deserves way more
