The sushi here is quite good, and the staff I've met are very nice. Prices are standard for what you are getting.
Haven't done the Hibachi, so I can't speak to that.

It took 1 hour and 30 minutes before we ate. Got there at 530 food came well after 7pm. Incredible rude wait staff asked us to leave the cooking table because our toddler wasn't orderring a meal. I will no be back. Watch out, even for a party of 4 with a total bill of $100 they will include a 20% gratuity. I am assuming many people have double tipped.

Did not have high expectations after reading reviews. Service was prompt and staff was welcoming and friendly. The hibachi was good and drinks were decent. Would not go out of my way to return but honestly wasn’t bad.

I was hesitant to try this place after reading some of the reviews but I’m glad I went and tried it anyways. Our server was so pleasant and suggested the valentine roll which I loved! The service was super fast. We will definitely be back!

Worst service I’ve ever experienced coming from the front desk and waitress. My party of 15 made a reservation three days prior to our dinner and upon arrival, we are told they cannot fit 15 and seem to be upset that we all showed up. After waiting for 30 minutes we’re finally seated only to wait another half an hour before we are even brought out any waters. More time passes until the waitress comes back around to take our orders and as soon as two people in our party told them they wouldn’t be ordering hibachi, the waitress starts yelling at us saying that those who are not ordering hibachi

I made a reservation for my group for 8:00pm. We weren’t seated until 8:40. Didn’t get to order for 20 minutes, waited for drinks for another 20. Didn’t get to put in our food until 9:20. Finally out hibachi chef came out an hour and a half later than our reservation. He rushed, didn’t give us a full experience, no volcano, no egg tricks, no vegetables thrown into our mouths, and we had to ask for saki.
Over all this was my worst experience at Okami. I will never come back.

Fresh, not salty, well seasoned chicken fried rice, grill shrimp and vegetable dish made the way I like. The Asian hot sauce with unique taste a welcome addition to the meal. You may like this type of decor, soft, colorful night lights throughout reminds me of a nightclub. I thought too dark for lunch. Overall the experience when well.

Okami is a great Japanese restaurant with a lively atmosphere! The hibachi seems entertaining (judging by the "oohs" and applause) and the service was speedy. Everything tasted fresh and delicious!
For the sushi, we ordered the Okami King ($15) without the spicy mayo sauce and soy bean paper. The salmon and teriyaki sauce really worked together and the crunchiness of the lobster tempura brought it all together. Really impressed with this one.
The other roll we got was a spicy maki roll I think. I was disappointed with this roll because most of the sushi was not spicy and the last few we ate had

Strange decor but very good food, on the high end of the price scale. Service was not good but to give them the benefit for the doubt they were dealing with a couple 20+ groups. Not a fan of the "pop music" playing while the Hibachi volcano presentation. For the price I would appreciate a different atmosphere but over all you won't be disappointed.
