For more than 25 years, Dr. Ungerleider has been providing quality dental and orthodontic care for his patients in Granby and the surrounding communities. He is dedicated to helping people achieve healthy, beautiful, and natural-looking smiles by providing customized treatments designed for comfort and efficiency.
Dr. Desai completed her BDS from dental school in India, but inspired to pursue knowledge in advanced technology, she was motivated to attend dental school in the USA as well. She started her career here as a dental assistant, while preparing to apply to dental school.
She was extremely thrilled when her persistent dedication for almost two years gained her admission to the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.Dr. Desai is an active member of the American Dental Association and Connecticut State Dental Association.

I Was a fairly new client of this practice when l called this morning at 9:15 on a Sunday due to extreme pain in my jaw. I left a detailed message and was directed to a number for their on-call dentist where l left a second message . After 2 hours I called again. It is now over 7 1/2 hours later l have not been called. I am extremely angry and still in considerable pain.
I do not recommend this dentist at all.

Went back recently. Staff must have been in a better mood. Everyone was on top of their game. So, this time they get five stars instead of four.
Dr. Ungerleider tells it like it is. I wish I had him years ago, he could have saved me a few teeth, instead of my previous, "conservatve" dentist who didn't mention signs of real trouble until it was too late!

So here it is in a nutshell: Two years ago, bumped into an old high school friend at the reservoir. We discussed many things and I mentioned I was looking for a new dentist and immediately he blurted out Michael Ungerleider. So I made an appointment. X-rays were taken, the staff and dentist seemed friendly. Hoever, the plan for me was impants, and the prices were way of my league. In any case, I never got a bill because my insurance paid 100%, fine. Now, the trouble started. I found another dentist. FOUR times, twice in writing and twice over the phone, I requested my x-rayed forwarded. Granby

I have been a patient at Granby Dental Center for 15 years and counting and decided it was time to give them the props they deserve. Every time i visit the experience is very pleasant, from the front desk staff to the assistants to the hygienists to the Dr.'s. Everyone always has a smile on their face and is on a good mood, which helps if you're not a fan of the dental office in general, like me. The front office staff (Amy and Carrie Ann) is very informative and helpful and will always give you a multitude of options weather it's for a payment, an appointment or a treatment plan

The doctors and staff at GDC are amazing. When we moved to Granby we needed a new office and they have not only met our needs but exceeded them. We were looking to have the entire family in one office to make things easier. My children ages 16,14 and 6 are comfortable and love the high tech instruments, fillings done by laser no shots!!! Invisalign treatment instead of metal braces! Can't say enough good things about them.
