My name is Hillary, I am the owner & lead makeup artist for Hillary Fay Studios (formerly Hillary Fay Freelance MUA). I specialize in on location bridal makeup/ hair, elopements, editorial, and more all across Vermont, New England, Florida & beyond. My primary focus (and true love) is bridal work. My goal on your wedding day is to create a fun, relaxed, organized, and refreshing environment, all while still providing a luxury experience for you.
1. Reserving Your Wedding Day: A 30% non-refundable retainer & contract are required to save your date. 2. Cancellations: Can be made up to 125 days prior to your wedding, if you cancel after that timeframe, the full amount of the contract will be due. Services can always be added but never subtracted from the contract.

No, pricing is firm. All prices reflect my training, kit costs, skill set, tools, and time. No, at this time I only offer traditional makeup application. Services may always be added (up until 3 weeks prior to the wedding), but may not be removed from the contract. I encourage you to get final answers from your bridal party prior to booking/ inquiring, or you can start with the minimum amounts and add on.

Hillary went above and beyond my expectations! I was so impressed with her work but even more so her quick response time, attention to detail and ability to keep calm (which is something I definitely needed on my wedding day). After my trial with Hillary I had ZERO worries about my wedding day look, she perfected it at the trial just as she perfected it on the wedding day.

From the first encounter I had with Hillary I knew that she would be a great fit for me on my wedding day. I had my trial with her and Ashley, who did my hair and I absolutely loved their energy they had as individuals but also as a pair. Hillary sat me down before my trial and went through a list of questions including my color scheme for my wedding, how comfortable I am with makeup, and the cut and style of my dress. On my wedding day she showed up more than prepared and once again came in with great energy. She sat each of my bridesmaids down and talked with each and every person she did makeup

Where do I begin?? To start, you should 100% book Hillary Fay Studios! Hillary is a total pro, easy to work with (though secretly VERY organized and on top of it), and fun to be around. I booked Hillary for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding makeup. For my wedding day look, she perfectly captured what I was looking for: a natural look that still felt and looked like me. And then, for the rehearsal dinner, Hillary created a beautiful and entirely different makeup style that complimented my rehearsal dinner dress (which had a pop of red and gold buttons). Hillary is professional and amazingly talented. I am a make-up enthusiast so I knew I absolutely had to have Hillary as our MUA - I got lucky and another bride cancelled for my date and I was so happy I was able to snag it.

I used Hillary for my wedding makeup in May 2021. She is absolutely AMAZING. She also did the makeup for my mom, mother-in-law and 4 bridesmaids. Every single one of us was so impressed with her professionalism and of course makeup artist talents. We all got fake eyelashes put on and they looked so great! Even my mom who barely wears makeup normally didn't feel too overdone.
Plus, we had to push our wedding because of Covid and Hillary was so flexible and helpful through this stressful time. I was so impressed with how well my makeup stayed all day & night even though I cried many, many times

Hillary is the best!! I absolutely loved my wedding day look that she created for me. I got married Dec 2020, it was a small wedding during the pandemic and I was unable to have all my girlfriends with me. Hillary and her hair stylist were so fun to be with and kept me in great spirits all morning long while I got ready.
