Tanner-Gill & Associates, LLP. was founded in 2012 by Duncan C. Tanner III and Thomas J. Gill. Duncan and Tom were both juniors at The University of Akron pursuing their bachelors degrees in Accounting. Thomas was working at the VITA Nonprofit Tax Preparation Clinic in Akron, OH preparing basic tax returns and Duncan was working at a local public accounting firm in Cuyahoga Falls, OH called CTF Partners.
