I am fixing my rental house by me to re rent it. I called a local well known roofer. He said my house and garage roof were in very bad shape. i showed him a tiny stain in one bedroom. He said it was a water stain from a leaking roof. I told the roofer how could it be a water stain. I have had the same tenants living here 40 years. They never said anything about a leak. He wanted $14,000 for the house and $4,000 for the garage. He said the longer I waited the worse it would get when a big rain came. I called another local roofer He said the roof was in bad shape but I could hold off a little replacing

What an amazing guy! I told him have a possible roof leak issue and told him where I live. He immediately said he's been to several other homes in the area and could probably guess with relative certainty the issue. He went one step further and guessed the approximate location of the leak (which he did correctly). He then said "don't let anybody BS you, this is a $x dollar job, unfortunately I won't be available till xxxx, but you can probably hunt around"

I asked Gary for a quote for some roofing over my patio. All of his communication was swift and friendly. He came on time and was very knowledgeable and helpful. We found out that my patio isn't set up properly for roofing. He's an honest professional and I will definitely be asking him for a quote in the future when I need one.

I recently purchased my first home and Dowd Roofing was chosen to do the roofing of my house. The roof was dated and in bad condition, and we were given an initial quote by Gary. He explained that the cost may go up depending on the condition of the roof underneath (which you can't see until you tear the roof apart). The crew showed up on the day and got to work immediately. On the same day, Gary informed us of the extra cost for the damaged wood found underneath, and then gave us a timeline of the rest of the process up until finish.

My wife and I highly recommend Dowd Roofing!! We had 4 estimates from different roofers, and Gary's was the best by far. Not only was his estimate the best, he was far more knowledgeable than any of the other guys. We had him re-roof our triplex in Temple City and he came up with an innovative way to get ride of some slow draining areas, where the rain would settle and cause problems. He also took us out in his truck to see a bunch of homes that he has done in Glendora. The job he did was top-notch, no issues at all.

My old roof couldn't stand up to all this crazy rain and the seal where the water heater vent capped on top of the roof failed and sent water down the pipe and into the laundry room. I knew I probably shouldn't just throw a tarp over the water heater vent cap, so I turned to yelp. I left a message and Gary returned it quickly and was able to get out to re-seal the roof between storms. He was friendly, fast, and reasonably priced. I will definitely call him again, whether for a quick patch or when I bite the bullet and re-roof!

With the recent rains, I noticed some bubbling and soft spots on my ceiling. I knew another rainstorm was coming soon and was scared my ceiling would come crashing down. I called my insurance agent who referred me to Gary. She said she refers all her clients to him and trusts that he will get the job done right!
I called Gary and left him a voicemail. After a few hours, he called me back and said that he was very busy and has 11:00 -11:30 open the next day. I told him I don't think I would be able to meet him at that time because I have a work meeting and if he could meet me at noon instead
